The first look of director Rajesh's Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, with GV Prakash's as the leading man, has already been trending on the social sites ever since its release and now comes the teaser. The first look has GV also a local boy along with RJ Balaji--which the viewers could quickly relate to. Nikki Galrani and Anandhi are the leading ladies. Produced by Amma Creations, GV has revealed that the film will be Rajesh's edition of Hangover. RJ Balaji and Prakash Raj will also have important roles in the film. The film, we hear, is a travel-based story and is shot in Chennai, Goa, and Puducherry. The latest buzz is that the film is likely to join the Diwali race with along with Karthi's Kaashmora, Dhanush's Kodi and Vishal's Kathi Sandai.

G.V.Prakash is currently busy at the sets of director M.Rajesh’s Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru. As per sources, shooting for the film is currently taking place in Mogappair, Chennai. We hear that 97% of the film is completed. More interestingly, there are reports that the movie could be a horror film. If reports are to be believed, this will be G.V’s second horror film after Darling which was also his debut movie as an actor. M.Rajesh who is known for his out of the box comedy scripts such as Boss Engira Bhaskaran and Siva Manasula Sakthi working in a horror script has become an exciting news to wait for confirmation on. GV Prakash Kadavul Irukaan Kumar collects 79 lakhs 41 thousand 360 in Chennai box office
Actor-music director G.V.Prakash Kumar's 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru' released over the weekend. The film directed by M.Rajesh despite getting mixed reviews has achieved a bumper opening. We had reported that the film has collected over Rs.2.55 crores on its day 1 in theaters across Tamil Nadu. Now we bring you the first weekend performance of 'KIK' in the Chennai Box Office. The film was released in 18 theaters across the state's capital and 223 shows were screened. With this film has collected close to Rs.80 lakhs (Rs.79,41,360) with a good 90% occupancy. This is the second best opening in Chennai BO for a GVP starrer after the super hit 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara'. 'KIK' stars Nikki Galrani and Anandi as the female leads and a host of comedy actors RJ Balaji. Urvashi, Robo Shankar, Singampuli and also the veteran actor Prakash Raj.
Anandhi Joins GV Prakash's Kadavul Irukaan Kumaaru
After reports that the makers of Kadavul Irukaan Kumaaru are not satisfied with the performance of Telugu actress Avika Gor in the film, the team has now roped in Anandhi of Kayal and Visaaranai fame to play one of the female leads alongside Nikki Galrani. Sources say it was GV Prakash who recommended Anandhi to director Rajesh after working with her in back to back projects in Trisha Illana Nayanthara and recently Enakku Innoru Per Irukku, which is slated to hit cinemas on June 17th. Produced by Amma Creations, Kadavul Irukaan Kumaaru is the first Rajesh film without his staple comedian Santhanam, who has been the lynchpin of his successful outings including Siva Manasula Sakthi and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. Prakash Raj plays the villain in the movie.
