Vikram will soon be doing a film with Susi Ganesan, according to sources. Kalaipuli Thanu will produce this yet to be titled flick. Now, the hot news doing rounds in Kollywood is that Katrina, the Bollywood actor, has agreed to act in the film. Katrina has starred in another South Indian film earlier. It was Malleshwari, in Telugu, in which she was paired opposite Venkatesh. There are many fans for Katrina Kaif down South and if this news indeed turns out to be true, well, the fans are sure to rejoice.
Katrina Kaif enters Kollywood?
Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif is said to be entering Kollywood through the movie that features Ajith. Director Raju Sundaram is believed to have succeeded in roping in the girl. Earlier it was said that the latest sensation of Kollywood Shriya would be Ajith's pair in the movie that is produced by Ayngaran International. According to a grapevine, Ajith was not interested in casting her after the girl chose to appear in a dance number with Vadivelu in Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan. Her reported attempts to convince Ajith seem to have failed. The latest buzz regarding the film is that Raju Sundaram and Ajith were able to convince Katrina, who came to Chennai recently. It is also rumoured that the dazzling beauty has been offered a whooping amount of Rs. one crore. Keep watching this space for more updates on the film.
Katrina Kaif Rajini's heroine?
In an exciting development, Soundarya Ashwin has said that they have offered Katrina Kaif the female lead in Kochadaiyaan. Katrina is one of the reigning Queens in Bollywood and she is also considered a lucky mascot. Her sizzling performances in Sheila Ki Jawani and the recent Chikni Chameli from Agneepath have cemented her reputation for pure star power. Katrina is thrilled with the opportunity to work with Rajinikanth. However, she is very busy and has already committed to many Hindi films. The actress is doing everything possible to somehow accomodate Kochadaiyaan we hear.
Kailash to Sing With Eddie Vedder
Singer Kailash Kher is an unlikely star, considering his short height and uncharacteristic looks. Yet, this giant singer who moved on from singing at railway stations to the cover page of international music magazine 'Rave', his artistic journey is unprecedented. Currently he is elated about his upcoming world concert with Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder. Kailash is very excited about this collaboration with Eddie Vedder. The live concert will be a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan who had teamed up with Eddie Vedder for the soundtrack of 'Dead Man Walking'. Kher had recently released his private album 'Kailasa' which also had the hit single 'Main Deewani' based on the love of Meera for Lord Krishna. Encouraged by the response to the first album, he is already planning the next. But what excites him the most is the work that he has done with A R Rahman for films like 'Swades' and 'Mangal Pandey'. His sufi song 'O Sikandar' from Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Corporate' is one of the better songs of this year.
Kailash returns with 'Bam Lahiri'
Kailash Kher is back with his latest album 'Kailasa Jhoomo Re' and surprisingly the opening track/music video of the album has been hardly impressive. Titled 'Bam Lahri', the track has a weird look, feel and music to it as it tries to fuse in religious elements with contemporary beats and dance routine. Though the track carries a grand canvas with horde of dancers and extras involved with Kailash holding the centre stage, 'Bam Lahiri' is strange to say the least as it is accompanied by some in comprehendible setting and situations. Neither eye pleasing nor catchy, 'Bam Lahiri' in fact is a turn off of sorts and a disappointment, especially due to the fact that it comes from Kailash Kher who has traditionally never failed to impressive.
Kainaaz in a totally different avatar
Sizzling actress Kainaaz features in a T-Series album as an Arabian dancer! Kainaaz, who was brought up in Canada, came to Mumbai six years ago to become an actress and has been seen on screen with renowned actors like Salman Khan, Bhumika Chawla, Manisha Koirala , Aftab Shivdasani , Shilpa Shetty and Antara Mali along with working for reputed directors like Ram Gopal Verma , Deepak Tijori and Atul Agnihotri!!! After her movie Ghutan in 2007 Kainaaz is now featuring in the new album called Bonnie 7 remix. She seems to have given a rocking performance as an Arabian dancer!! The Album Bonnie & remix is being released by T-series and is directed by Anant Mahadevan. This is not the first time Kainaaz has worked with T-series. She had earlier produced 3 music videos with T-series. The album Bonnie 7 remix is due to be launched this week....so watch out for Kainaaz in a totally different avatar!!
