Real Star Upendra's next movie Kalpana 2's audio will be launched on June 9. The movie is the remake of 2015 Tamil blockbuster Kanchana 2. Upendra was a part of the prequel Kalpana, which was the remake of Kanchana as well. Kannada version was as bigger hit than the original. As expected, sequel was remade into Kannada with Upendra. The cast of the movie includes Priyamani and Avantika Shetty of Rangitaranga fame. The supporting cast includes Shobraj, Om Prakash Rao, Muni, Kuri Prathap and others. Anantraj is the director. Rajendra K M of Kalla Police fame is producing the film under his banner Rajendra Productions while producer Shilpa Srinivas is presenting the movie. Arjun Janya is the music director and this will be his first association with Real Star Upendra. K M Babu and Swamy are the executive producers. M R Seenu is the director of photography. Jo Ni Harsha is the editor. Music is being released through Anand Audio. Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra, Shankar Mahadevan, Vijay Prakash, Indu Nagaraj, Arjun Janya and Aishwarya Ranganath have sung the songs. Arjun Janya has given Aishwarya Ranganath, a chance to sing in the movie as promised, after the latter reached the finals of singing competition Saregamapa 2016. Title song of the movie sung by Puneeth Rajkumar was recently shot by choreographer Kalai master in Bengaluru, with Upendra accompanied by 150 Dancers and junior artists. The shoot has almost completed except for a duet song of Upendra and Avantika Shetty which will be shot in the various locations of Goa. Upendra's another movie Mukunda Murari in which he shares screen space with Kiccha Sudeep for the first time is in its final stages of production as well. Once Uppi clears these commitments, he will start shooting for the remake of Telugu hit Soggade Chinni Nayana which is to be directed by Lokanth and produced by Sriram.
Kalpana 2 Audio Released
The audio of Real Star Upendra's next Kalpana 2, was released officially last week(June 9), by the producers of Kalpana in a star hotel in the presence of celebrities from Kannada Film Industry, Press and fans. Kalpana 2 has music composed by Magical Composer. Arjun Janya and this movie is the first association for Arjun with Upendra, so the expectations were really high from this project. The album consists of 4 songs which are penned by top lyricists of Kannada Film Industry, K Kalyan, Dr V Nagendra Prasad and Kaviraj. The track list of the album includes:
Kalpana 2 Release Date Confirmed
Real Star Upendra's Kalpana 2 has been confirmed for release, on July 15 throughout the state. R Ananthraj has directed the horror flick, which is the remake of Telugu/Tamil blockbuster Kanchana 2. The music of the movie was released last month, and songs have received decent response. The makers are yet to start promoting the movie, songs may reach the next level then. The teaser/trailer of the movie is yet to be released. As per the sources, a teaser may be released one week ahead of the film's release to up the ante for the movie. Also, a couple of video songs are expected to be released. Priyamani and Avantika Shetty of Rangitaranga fame are the heroines in the movie. Nithya Menen and Tapsee had played the roles in the original. Both the characters have scope to perform and for sure both Priyamani and Avantika would excel in the roles given to them. Both story and screenplay have been taken from the original, except for the minor changes which have been done by director R Ananthraj. Dr. KM Rajendra is producing the movie under Rajendra Movies and this is his comeback movie as a producer. Kalpana was released without much buzz but the Uppi and Saikumar factor made sure that openings were huge. Trade pundits are expecting the same magic to repeat for Kalpana 2, as the buzz or expectations are very low, as of now. M R Seenu is the cinematographer and Jo Ni Harsha is the editor. Ramu has choreographed the songs. The makers are planning to release the movie on their own throughout the state in 200 odd theaters.
Kalpana's daughter Sreemayi denies reports about Acting Debut
Late actress Kalpana has a daughter, Sreemayi has recently got into a rumour claiming that she may make her acting debut very soon. But she has now clarified that she has no such wish now, and may debut in future after completing her studies.It is to note that Sreemayi has attended the audio launch function of a Tamil movie named Unnodu Ka, in Chennai with her aunt Urvasi, which led to the rumours about her acting debut.

Pawan Kalyan's next set of projects are getting huge expectations. Right now Pawan has confirmed that his next immediate movie will be with Dolly and his friend Sharath Marar will fund the project. The ground work is going on right now. However the casting for the movie is missed and there have been more speculations on the female lead. If sources are to be trusted, Singer Sunitha might be doing a crucial role in Pawan Kalyan — Trivikram Srinivas project. However we need to wait few more days to get official word from the team.
Sri Kalpana Arts 'A..Aa..E..Ee..'
Srikanth, Meera Jasmine and Sadaf in the lead, directed by Srinivas Reddy, 'A Aa E Ee short for Akkada Aame, Inthalo Eeme is produced by Boddam Ashok Yadav on Sri Kalpana Arts banner. The shooting of this film, planned to be completed in a single schedule, is in brisk progress. The producer Ashok Yadav recently released a press note on the progress of the film. He expressed his happiness over the progress of the shooting and the co-operation extended by the artists and technicians towards the same. Plans are that till 9th of October comedy scenes will be shot on Brahmanandam, Kovai Sarala, Srikanth and Raghubabu at Hyderabad. From 11 to 16th October, the climax will be reeled at Araku Valley. Then we will finish the film after canning two of the fight sequences and songs. The producer thanked the director Srinivas Reddy who has also agreed to direct his next endeavor.
