The series of laurels on Prabhas for his performance in Baahubali 2 The Conclusion continues and most times it comes from the biggest film industry in India, Bollywood. Despite their huge budget and promotions, the B-town is yet to make a film that is yet to beat Baahubali 2 in terms of style and grandeur. Aamir Khan’s Dangal is the only movie to have already surpassed the collections with Rs. 2000 crores while Prabhas’ film is on the way. Ranbir Kapoor, the charming lad has commented that he loved Prabhas and his dedication to play the memorable role in the blockbuster hit. He is now looking forward to his release titled Jagga Jasoos.
Boxoffice! Aamir Khan's Dangal grosses 300 Crores within a Week
Aamir Khan's Dangal has turned out to be a money spinner this year end.The film based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat has already grossed 300 crores worldwide. With a domestic collection of 197 crores, the wrestling based film has also earned 111.61 Crore rupees in the overseas markets, making the total to 308 Crore Rupees.As no other big films are releasing this week, the trade circles predict that Dangal collection chart will be on rise in the second week too.

About 23 Film Critics assembled to pick up the finest feature films, actors and technicians of Bollywood for the year 2016 as part of Film Companion Critics Poll. Renowned Film Critic Anupama Chopra shared the winners of five categories. Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal' is being named Best Film of the Year 2016. Director Ram Madhvani bagged the Best Director of the Year 2016 for presenting the story of air hostess Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life to save passengers of hijacked Pan Am flight 73 at Karachi in Pakistan, with the movie 'Neerja' starring Sonam Kapoor. Manoj Bajpayee bags the Best Actor award for brilliant portrayal of gay professor in 'Aligarh'. Alia Bhatt wins the Best Actress award for playing roles in 'Udta Punjab' and 'Dear Zindagi' with conviction. Shakun Batra and Ayesha Devitre Dhillon are named Best Writers for 'Kapoor & Sons'.

Salman Khan celebrates his birthday today (27th December). The actor turns 51! Salman had just one release in 2016 which was Sultan. Sultan is one of the biggest blockbusters ever made in Bollywood and Salman’s fans were very happy with the way the film came out. Now he is currently involved in the production of his next, Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan. The film went on floors in August and they have completed just one schedule. The film is slated for release in 2017. Salman is currently doing one film at a time, he is now releasing just a film per year but still making a mark in the box office.
