'Kulir 100°' - A tale of youthful exuberance

Stories made on innocence, adolescence and the magic of youth always cast enchanting spells permeating our hearts with joy. This is the stuff that lives are made with. Exploits during our formative years stand in good stead molding our futures with lasting impressions. Anita Udeep is currently filming an exciting Tamil film along these lines titled 'Kulir 100°'. Having already made two films, 'Knock, knock'.I am looking to marry' and the animation flick 'Gulliver's Travels' in English, it is now a Tamil movie 'KULIR 100 degree'. 'Fun-times' for just about anybody is life after school and college hours. 'What's interesting is that this is a high school film with hardly any classroom scene' says the young filmmaker. The exploits of Surya, B.LO, Tanya, Rohit, Akash and Ralte on hostel campus would most certainly arouse the curiosity especially in the background of the dense forest atmosphere that prevails on their campus. The movie would be mostly on the lives of these young adults in their 12th grade. 'The film will have exciting action and humor laced with loads of twists and turns' says Anita. Music for 'Kulir 100°' is being designed in such a precise manner that it plays different characters in the film so much so that the music part would synchronize with the emotions of the lead characters identifying with their innate natures. The film is also planned to have a simultaneous release in Telugu. Anita Udeep, who is a well qualified filmmaker post graduating in Fine Arts specializing in filmmaking from the Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. She has the unique distinction of being selected to assist one of the greatest filmmakers of our times Steven Spielberg. Anita assisted him for twelve one-hour episodes of the sci-fi series 'Taken' during her stint at Dreamworks SKG at Los Angeles. A multi-talented personality, Anita Udeep is also an accomplished singer winning a Tamilnadu State Award for classical music. With her voice featuring in the famous 'Azhagiya Azura' song from the film 'Whistle', she had become a household name in Tamilnadu. musicmazaa wishes this talented and passionate filmmaker all the very best in all her endeavors!

'Kulir' music album to make waves soon

'Kulir' ' a film directed by Anita Udeep and produced by N-Viz Entertainment is nearing completion and a December release is on the cards. The end of November would see the film's music album released with fanfare. 'Kulir' has introduced Bobo Sashi as music director and the talented musician has come up with an exiting array of seven songs. This youthful album has been crafted in a meticulous fashion adhering to popular international styles of music such as Hip-Hop, Spanish style music etc. Director Anita Udeep has come up with an exciting story with loads of fun and frolic centering on the lives and times of school going adolescents. The music has come out with a lot of energy to match the charged up storyline. The album is so full of life that Sony BMG has acquired the distribution rights for it. This in itself speaks volumes about the innate talent of debutant Bobo Sashi. Sony BMG usually acquires rights for albums set to music by the likes of A. R. Rahman and Harris Jayaraj. A popular hip hop band from Malaysia Boomerangx has performed two songs that feature in the album and actor Simbu has rendered his voice for a song called 'Manasellam'. This refreshing song has all the makings of another 'Loosu Penne' with music lovers. Says a happy Anita Udeep, 'All seven songs are great to listen to and go very well with the mood of the film. Bobo Sashi has been simply fantastic and will certainly make a mark for himself in Tamil Cinema'. An innovative approach has been made as far as the lyrics of the album are concerned. Lyric writers of famous bands in Chennai have been roped for a song each. Purple Patch, an all-girls' band has come up with the lyrics for one song. Pa Vijay and V. Illango have also been part of the lyrics team. Kulir's music album comes across as a splash of youthful vibrancy and the songs 'Boom', Hip Hop Hurray' and 'Manasellam' are sure to be big time chart busters. The music album launch which is slated to happen by the end of November would have Simbu on stage singing the number 'Manasellam'. Well, this is one album which sure is worth waiting for.
