Maan Karate audio releases on Valentines Day

Makers of Siva Karthikeyan and Hansika's upcoming film Maan Karate have disclosed firstlook, audio and film release dates. Producer P. Madhan of Escape Artist Motion Pictures confirmed release of Maan Karate firstlook on January 1, audio on February 14 and film release on April 11. “#MaanKarate - All Set for first look on Jan 1st 2014 and Movie Release April 11th 2014 @ihansika @Siva_Kartikeyan @anirudhofficial Audio For Valentines Day,” Madhan posted in his twitter page. Thirukumaran is directing Siva karthikeyan's Maan Karate that has story and screenplay by his guru AR Murugadoss, while Sukumar is handling the cameraand music is by Anirudh Ravichander.

Maan Karate gets clean U

Siva Karthikeyan’s forthcoming film Maan Karate first copy is sent to censor board and the regional board members have cleared the film with Clean U certification. Sivakarthikeyan paired up with Hansika in this romantic comedy entertainer which is directed by Thirukumaran. Escape Artists Madan and AR Murugadoss produced the film with good production values and Anirudh composed musical score have got good response. Maan Karate is the first summer release this year. The movie which is all set for April 4 grand scale release is expected to take good openings at the box-office.

Maan Karate strikes gold for Sivakarthikeyan

Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Tamil romantic-comedy "Maan karate", which released Friday, has raked in Rs.10.83 crore at the box-office in the opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. This has turned out to be the biggest opening for the actor. "This has turned to be the biggest opening in Siva's career, superseding the box-opening of his last release 'Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam', which was also a blockbuster. 'Maan Karate' has collected a whopping Rs.10.83 in the opening weekend in the state," trade analyst Trinath said. This medium-budget film was heavily criticized by critics. "The critics ripped the film apart but it still did good business because it's an out-and-out commercial entertainer. It's continuing to do great business in the B and C centres," he added. Directed by K. Thirukumaran, "Maan Karate" also stars Hansika Motwani, Sayaji Shinde and Sathish in important roles. "Maan Karate" was jointly produced by P. Madan and A.R Murugadoss, who had also penned the story.

Siva Karthikeyan-Hansika’s Maan Karate kickstarts

Maan Karate is the upcoming film that is all set to kickstart its shoots from tomorrow [Aug 13]. Hansika will be pairing up with Siva Karthikeyan for the first time in Maan Karate that will be directed by debutant Thirukumaran, a former associate of AR Murugadoss. Hansika, who has recently celebrated her Birthday in Mumbai, will fly back to Chennai to night for Maan Karate that is going to hit the floors tomorrow. Escape Artists Motion Pictures is producing Maan Karate that has story and screenplay by ace director-producer ARM, who has earlier promoted many of his assistants.

Nara Rohit to shed weight for 'Maan Karate' remake

Actor Nara Rohit, who was seen in Telugu actioner "Asura", will lose weight for his role as a boxer in the yet-untitled Telugu remake of Tamil film "Maan Karate". "I had put on a lot of weight for 'Asura'. I've started working out to lose most of it for 'Maan Karate' film. Although I don't play a boxer throughout the film, but will appear as one in some crucial scenes," Rohit told. The remake will be helmed by Kumar Nagendra, and the makers are on the lookout for the heroine. Besides Rohit, actor Kabir Duhan Singh has been finalised as the baddie. He was last seen in recent Telugu film "Jil". "Maan Karate", a sports comedy, was one of the biggest Tamil hits of last year. Its story was penned by AR Murugadoss. The remake will be produced by Ashok and Nagarjun, who earlier produced Telugu film "Joru", which was also helmed by Kumar Nagendra.

Latha Hegde in Telugu remake of 'Maan Karate'

New Zealand-based model-turned-actress Latha Hegde is making her acting debut in upcoming yet-untitled Telugu remake of Tamil hit "Maan Karate". "I came across her profile through a casting agency. We liked it and she was instantly brought to India and was auditioned. She's already shot for over a month for the project. We've even shot two songs with Latha, and I'm really impressed with her work," film's director Kumar Nagendra told. Latha is currently in Hyderabad shooting for the film. Starring Nara Rohit in the lead role, the film also stars Kabir Duhan Singh. "Maan Karate", a sports comedy, was one of the biggest Tamil hits of last year. The film's story was penned by A.R.
