Superstar Rajinikanth has apparently watched the latest sensation 'Maanagaram' and he was apparently impressed with the film that made him immediately call the film's producer S.R.Prabhu as well as the debutant director Lokesh Kanakaraj and congratulate them for delivering such a great film.'Maanagaram' is a film on how a set of people from different backgrounds intersect each other in the fast-paced life of Chennai. The cast and crew members are predominantly newcomers or less popular faces. The film has been produced by a team of young producers under the Potential Studios banner in which S.R.Prabhu and S.R.Prakash Babu, the proprietors of Dream Warrior Pictures banner are included. At this moment. producer Prabhu has recounted that Thalaivar had watched 'Joker' the critically acclaimed super hit produced by Dream Warrior pictures last year and had called him to appreciate the film.Young director Lokesh is on cloud nine as his maiden work has been acknowledged by the biggest icon of Tamil cinema. He has said he may not be able to sleep on that night due to the immense happiness he has derived from Thalaivar's call. 'Mahanagaramlo' completes half of talkie shoot
Shooting of over 50 per cent talkie for 'Mahanagaramlo'' (Siva, Chandu) directed by GLB Srinivas and produced by Siva on the banner of Sri Vasavi Visuals with Yashwant and Poonam Singar was completed so far. Producer says, 'Two youths from different regions reach Hyderabad in search of employment. They get caught in the cobweb of mafia unknowingly. How they came out of the mafia grip is the subject.' Director says, 'Besides canning of songs, some important scenes and comedy track is yet to be shot for the movie. In our recent schedule we completed the shooting of climax. The story and its movement would quite novel and each scene would make the audience to think about the next scene. Music provided by Koti would remain an asset for the movie.' Vijayabhaskar, Chitra Sreenu, Mallikarjuna Rao, Ashokkumar, Benerjee, Satyaprakash, Bhaskar, Sameer, Jenny, Tilak, Sudeepa, Sarika Ramachandra Rao, Rajita, Madhumati, Alapati Lakshmi and others are in the cast. 'Mahanagaramlo' fresh schedule in progress
The latest schedule of 'Mahanagaramlo'' (Siva, Chandu) directed by GLB Srinivas and produced by Siva on the banner of Sri Vasavi Visuals with Yashwant and Poonam Singar is progressing at Hyderabad. Director says, 'We started the fresh schedule on June 9 and it would continue till June 27. With this, we will complete the shooting of the talkie part. Later, we will choreograph the songs. 'Mahanagaramlo' (Siva, Chandu) cans songs
Producer says, 'A duet penned by Chandrabose is now being shot on Yashwant and Poonam Singar. Two more songs would be choreographed in the next 10 days. We will complete the post-production works too at an early date and release the film in September at any cost.'
