Hrithik Roshan's brawny and rustic look in 'Mohenjo Daro' has impressed millions with its grand trailer and now the makers have released the first song of the film. Titled 'Tu Hai', the romantic number has been composed by music maestro A.R. Rahman and sung by Sanah Moidutty and Rahman himself. Well, Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde's chemistry looks beautiful in this soft soulful romantic number and will surely raise your anticipation level! Hrithik will be seen romancing newbie Pooja Hegde and that is another reason why the thrill level is high for the period romantic drama. Playing the character of a princess, Pooja is seen wearing a white dress with a floral headgear. The actress certainly looks very beautiful. And as usual Hrithik's rugged avatar looks good. The Ashutosh Gowariker-helmed movie, set in the pre historic era marks the debut of Pooja in Bollywood and brings back Hrithik on the big screen after a long gap. The former beauty pageant contestant has worked in the Telugu films 'Oka Laila Kosam' and 'Mukunda'. In 'Mohenjo-Daro' Hrithik and Pooja's chemistry is looking good and fans are likely to be entertained by this fresh pairing. Ashutosh Gowarikar directorial 'Mohenjo Daro' also stars Kabir Bedi, Arunadoy Singh and Suhasini Muley in key roles. 'Mohenjo Daro' is slated for release on August 12 which will coincide with the release of Akshay Kumar starer 'Rustom'.
Hrithik injured on 'Mohenjo Daro' sets
Actor Hrithik Roshan, who was filming an action scene for his upcoming film "Mohenjo Daro", says he had "a lovely fall" and tore a ligament. "Had a lovely fall today (Saturday). Tore a ligament. Curious about how I am going to have a fun time healing and working next few weeks. #imagination #makeitwork," Hrithik tweeted. The "Krrish" star has been reportedly advised bed rest for minimum two weeks. Ashutosh Gowariker had earlier shared that he is impressed with Hrithik's stunts in his forthcoming directorial "Mohenjo Daro". "He is pushing all limits to perform the gruelling stunts," the director said last year. "Mohenjo Daro" is an epic love story set in the era of the Indus Valley civilization. It will see Hrithik romancing debutant Pooja Hegde.
Hrithik Roshan: 'Mohenjo Daro' will be one of my best films
Actor Hrithik Roshan's 'Mohenjo Daro' is all set to hit the screens on August 12 and the actor says this film is going to be one of his best. "I am travelling back into time and it's been a great journey and a great experience working with this film 'Mohenjo Daro'. I believe its going to be one of my best films and I hope the audience will also agree with me when they see the film," he said at an event. Starring Hrithik, debutant Pooja Hegde and veteran actor Kabir Bedi, the movie is an epic adventure-romance, set in the ancient city of Mohenjodaro, which now falls in Pakistan's Sindh province, in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation that dates back to 2600 BC. The movie marks Gowariker's second collaboration with Hrithik after 2008 film 'Jodhaa Akbar'.

Theatrical Trailer of Hrithik Roshan's much-awaited historical flick 'Mohenjo Daro' is finally out. Director Ashutosh Gowarikar takes everyone back to the era of 'Mohenjo Daro'. This new outing looks to be as good as his past works 'Lagaan', 'Swades' and 'Jodha Akhbar'. Hrithik Roshan carries the whole movie on his shoulders. His terrific screen presence, intense performance and the ease with which he performs action were a delight to watch. Pooja Hegde looks beautiful in few parts. One has to wait till the release to pass a judgement on her. Art Work is marvelous and viewers were awestruck watching the structures of the era. AR Rahman delivers his best yet again.
Rahman records for 'Mohenjo Daro'
AR Rahman is not only composing the music in the upcoming film, 'Mohenjo Daro', but also lending his voice for one of the tracks in the Hrithik Roshan-starrer. The music maestro recently recorded a song for Ashutosh Gowariker's film. The love track, 'Tu Hai', has been picturised on Hrithik. Rahman, who recently visited the sets of 'The Voice India Kids', moved singer Neeti Mohan to tears when he complimented her on being a phenomenal stage performer and an asset to his touring entourage. Neeti says, "From being a fan to touring with your mentor has been a huge thing for me. Any piece of advice coming from Rahman Sir is special because I worship him." The singer also had a chance to meet her other idol — Madhuri Dixit – on the music reality show.
