Mokshagna, on the other side, is making his debut as an assistant director with his dad's historical venture 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'.. He is currently working as an assistant director for an action scene in this Krish's directorial venture. Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's son Mokshagna's debut venture as a hero is eagerly being awaited by Nandamuri fans. Two years, ago, it was gossiped that Mokshagna's debut film's title would be confirmed as 'Raane Vachchadayya Aa Ramayya'. Afterwards, no news about the title and the other details of the project were heard. Grapevine is that 'Eega' producer Sai Korrapati registered the title 'Raane Vachchadayya Aa Ramayya' at the film chamber. As the title reflects Telugu nativity and sacredness, the title is said to be an apt one for Mokshagna's debut.
Mokshagna’s debut with Shathakarni ?
Natasimha Balakrishna’s prestigious project “Gauthamiputra Shathakarni” which is marked as his 100th movie is said to be a pack of surprises to the Nandamuri fans. As per the reports, Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna will be debuting with this prestigious flick. Shriya Saran is acting in the role of Shathakarni’s wife while Moksha will be seen in the role of Pulomavi who is the son of Gauthamputra. It seems Krish already discussed this matter with Balakrishna and is said to have responded positively. Well, let’s wait till the news comes through an official source!
Mokshagna's Debut will happen then: Balakrishna
Nandamuri Balakrishna interacted with Media during the Krishna Pushkarams. He spoke about Mokshagna's launch and Gautamiputra Satakarni on this occasion. Mokshagna's Debut: 'Mokshagna will surely enter Film Industry. We want him to launch him after completion of higher studies. Even, I was introduced in a similar manner. His debut will happen by the end of 2017'. Gautamiputra Satakarni: 'I have listened to lot of stories for my 100th movie. When I was in a dilemma, 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' came my way. I didn't let it go as AP's new capital is coming up in Amaravati. Satakarni is someone who ruled from Rajasthan to Mysuru. People were aware of Kings like Ashoka and Sri Krishna Devarayulu. Very few people knew about Satakarni. Its my privilege to reprise the role of such a great person. I'm happy to offer this movie to the Telugus. About 40% of the shoot has been completed so far'. While 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' is expected to release for Pongal 2017, Mokshagna's launch pad might hit the screens mid-2018.
JDs 'Marana Homam' or 'Moksham'
Introduced to Tollywood as a villain with RamGopal Varma's debut directorial venture 'Shiva', later found success as a hero, JD Chakravarthy also ventured in to direction with 'Homam' starring Jagapati babu. It is known that a sequel is being planned for this film tentatively titled as 'Marana Homam', before the release of 'Homam'. The action flick Homam made it to the box office and reaped recognition for the director. Sources say that director JD Chakravarthy is observing 'Moksham' as a title for the sequel instead of 'Marana Homam'. Jagapathi Babu will appear as an Encounter Specialist in this film, and a part of it will be reeled in Lahore, Pakistan. The regular shooting will commence from 23rd of this month.

On June 29, Nandamuri Balakrishna escaped an accident that would have been fatal. He was driving to the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru along with five others. He was in the driver's seat when, in his attempt to escape from a vehicle coming toward the car, he hit a road divider. Fortunately, none of those in the car were hurt. Yesterday night, a car in which his son Mokshagna was seated met with an accident on a Banjara Hills road. Due to unclear visibility because of showers during the night, driver Venkanna lost control. The vehicle, mentioned as a Toyota Fortuner in RTA records, rammed into a nearby divider. The front portion got completely mauled. The accident happened near the Basavataraka Cancer Hospital. Eye witness accounts are saying that Mokshagna was there in the car. According to some reports, he was in an inebriated condition at that time. This has triggered a speculation that it was Mokshagna who was driving when the accident happened. The car, registered by RTA Hindupur in Nandamuri Balakrishna's name, is now with the Banjara Hills police. The police have entered Venkanna's name as the driver.
