Nikki Galrani playing the lead had also tweeted about reaching the locations along with her mother today, the 1st July. Through credible sources we also learn that the team is aiming to have its theatrical release during the end of August. Super Good Film funds this film, which is an official remake of the Telugu entertainer Pataas.
Motta Rajendran files police complaint regarding his fake Twitter account
Motta Rajendran is one of the prominent faces in the Kollywood circle, who has many memorable films to his credit. He met the Commissioner of Police, Chennai today, 22nd of June to give a complaint regarding his fake Twitter account. It is told that some unknown cyber criminals have been using a Twitter account in the name of Motta Rajendran (@Rajendran_offl), which has created unwanted confusions for the comedian. The has been accepted by the Police officials and they have started their investigation to find out that cyber criminals.
Mottai Rajendran & family member in Simbu's 'AAA'
Director Adhik Ravichander of ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ fame has started his next with Simbu playing triple roles including a villain in ‘Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan’. The film produced by Michael Rayappan’s Global Infotainment has Shriya Saran playing one of the female roles while the team is finalizing the other two. Meanwhile an interesting news is that Mottai Rajendhran has been signed on to play an important role in the film and his elder brother Mari Mani is also making his debut in ‘AAA’ as confirmed by the director yesterday.
Raghava Lawrence’s Motta Siva Ketta Siva shoot wrapped up in Malaysia
It was reported that the team of Motta Siva Ketta Siva was shooting a song sequence in Malaysia with Raghava Lawrence and Nikki Galrani. Now, it looks like the song shoot of this action entertainer is completed. Nikki Galrani tweeted “#MottaSivaKettaSiva wrapped up !!! Seeked blessings from Lord Murugan & prayed for all #Malaysia” As the shoot is fully wrapped up now, we can expect the film to release in next few months after the post production is done. This Sai Ramani directorial is funded by R.B.Choudary of Super Good Films.
My motto is not perfection, but progress: Sidharth Malhotra
From "Student of the Year" to "Brothers", Sidharth Malhotra has shown just the progress as an actor that he's striving for. He says he chooses progress over perfection in his career as of now. "I feel that I learn something from every film. My motto is... it's not about perfection, it's about progress. I don't need to be perfect right now as long as I am progressing, improving and adding stuff film by film, year by year," Sidharth told over the phone from Mumbai. The four-film-old actor is currently basking in the success of his latest film "Brothers", which features him and Akshay Kumar as warring siblings. The action-packed family drama, which released on August 14, collected Rs.72.6 crore net at the box office in its first week. Before that, he displayed his craft in films like "Hasee Toh Phasee" and "Ek Villain". He is geared up to be seen as a brother of another actor on the big screen. "Fawad Khan and I will be seen as brothers in 'Kapoor and Sons'. We are not competing in the film, but for now I can just share that both of us are writers," he said. Sidharth, who has roots in Delhi, is working with the Pakistani star for the first time. And he's loving it. "A majority of the film was shot in Coonoor. Since we had nothing else to do in Coonoor, we (Fawad and I) had lots of conversation about movies. We even played cricket. I had a great time working with him (Fawad). "Culturally also, we were connected...where he comes from... Lahore is similar to Delhi. It will be great to visit Pakistan and see the country. He was kind enough to invite us also. "Let's see if it works out and if time allows, I should plan something and go and meet my on-screen brother there," said Sidharth, who is positive about the film's release in Pakistan, where Saif Ali Khan's forthcoming movie "Phantom" has been banned. Sidharth believes "Kapoor and Sons" is an "endearing film". "This one ('Kapoor and Sons') should release in Pakistan. It's a sweet, family comedy and drama film," said Sidharth. He is also looking forward to filming his next co-starring Katrina Kaif. "We will start filming next week. It's a concept-driven love story where you show these two people (growing) over a period of time. It is very exciting to try all characters in the film... be it younger or older or my age," he said. He even shared that once he wraps up filming the love story, directed by Nitya Mehra, he will "move on to something else in the action space". Just a month back, he was seen donning the khaki for one of the magazine's photoshoots. Would he like to sport the look on the big screen too? "The photoshoot was the first visual of me trying on a typical Hindi picture policeman which was almost like a surreal moment because I've seen these heroes wear it. So, why not? When I wore that uniform, I was excited. It will be interesting to play a policeman and put on the khaki. "All the iconic heroes have done it and it will be fun too."
Mega hero launches 'Kobbari Matta' teaser
The teaser of Kobbari Matta was released by Sai Dharam Tej. Speaking on the occasion, producer Sai Rajesh said, "I wanted to become a director when I watched Gharana Mogudu. That's why I dedicated the first scene in Hrudaya Kaleyam to Chiranjeevi garu. I'm happy that a Mega hero is releasing the teaser today. The lengthy dialogue on women will become a big hit. A line on men comes just before the interval. It's 3-minute-long." Director Ronaldson said, "The dialogue in the teaser was shot on the last day of the shoot. We were relieved when Sampoo pulled it off." Director Maruthi said, "The teaser is very good. It's creating a tsunami all over. With the lengthy line, Sampoo has proved his real potential." Sampoo said, "I'm happy that Sai anna is releasing the teaser. I feel Chiranjeevi garu himself is releasing it." Sai Dharam Tej said, "I like Sampoo even as a person. I came to know that he was seen as a junior artist in Mahatma. I was inspired to know that later on, he struggled a lot to reach this position."
