Actor Jai starrer Pugazh has just released in Theaters and is running successful. The actor has now signed a new flick which will be directed by Mundasupatti fame director Ram.Bankrolled by C.V.Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainments, the film will go into floors in May this year, likely after the completion of TN Assembly elections.Jai will be playing a cop in the movie, and the director is currently hunting for the heroine and the other actors of the cast.After completing this film, Jai will join the shooting of Venkat Prabhu's Chennai-28 sequel.

After a long hiatus due to her personal life, Amala Paul is back with a bang having more than half a dozen biggies in her kitty including Dhanush’s ‘VIP2’ and ‘Vada Chennai’, ‘Thiruttu Payale 2’ and three other films in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Amala Paul is pairing with Vishnu Vishal in a new film directed by Ram of ‘Mundasupatti’ fame and the film reportedly has a fairy tale title ‘Cinderella’. An official announcement with the FL is expected to be out soon.

The team that gave us Mundasupatti in 2014, is back together for a new film for Axess Film Factory. Director Ram Kumar has signed Vishnu Vishal yet again, for his next, following their successful combination. When we spoke to the director, he said, "The film will go on floors from the 29th of November. You can also expect the first Look in the following week. Amala Paul has been signed as the heroine in the film which will also feature Radharavi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Munishkanth and Kaali Venkat. This will be a full-fledged crime action thriller, unlike Mundasupatti which was a comedy drama. Cinematographer PV Sankar and Art Director Gopi Anand who had earlier worked in Mundasupatti have been roped in for this film as well. The stunts will be choreographed by Vicky of Uriyadi fame and Ghibran will be taking over the music department." It is also reported that Vishnu Vishal will be donning the role of a cop in this film. Meanwhile, Amala Paul has been on a signing spree as she already has films like Velayilla Pattadhari 2, Vada Chennai, Thiruttu Payale 2, Hebbuli(Kannada) and Achayans(Malayalam) in her kitty. 2017 is going to be a year of releases for the Mynaa girl
