Nivin Pauly, the young crowd-puller of M'town is well-known for the onscreen chemistry he shares with his heroines. Reportedly, Nivin is all set to romance another young actress onscreen, soon. Ahaana Krishna, the Njan Steve Lopez fame actress, has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Nivin Pauly in Premam fame Althaf's directorial debut. The role was earlier offered to anchor Aishwarya Lekshmi. But, as per the latest reports, Ahaana has been finalised for the role. Ahaana is sharing the screen with Nivin for the first time in her career. Details regarding her character are yet to be revealed. If the reports are to be true, Nivin Pauly is playing an aimless young man in the movie, which depicts the relationship between today's youngsters and their parents. Ahaana is said to be playing Nivin's love interest. The young actress, who is the eldest daughter of actor Krishna Kumar, made her acting debut with Rajeev Ravi's Njan Steve Lopez. She later took a break from the industry, to concentrate on her studies. As per the sources, the project will start rolling immediately after Nivin Pauly completes his current Tamil project. The movie is produced by the actor himself, for his home banner Pauly Jr. Pictures.
Jagan Shaji Kailas To Make Directorial Debut
Jagan Shaji Kailas, the son of the popular star couple Shaji Kailas and Annie, will soon make his directorial debut. Reportedly, Jagan is entering the industry with a musical video, not a movie. Njan Steve Lopez fame Ahaana Krishnakumar will star in the music video which has been titled as Kari. Popular music band Masala Coffee is composing the music for the video. If the reports are to be true, Kari is an action-based music video which will provide equal space for music. More details regarding the video, including the rest of the cast and release date, will be out soon. Jagan Shaji Kailas has earlier released a short film named Bandham, which was made as a part of his studies. According to the sources, Jagan is also planning to make his feature film debut soon. Shaji Kailas and Annie who tied the knot in 1996, are blessed with threes sons Jagan. Sharon, and Roshan. Annie has recently made her comeback to the media industry, with a cooking show. The director, on the other hand, is currently on a break from films. Reportedly, Shaji Kailas is planning to make a comeback with an action thriller, which will have a M'town superstar in the central role.
Lal Jose To Bring Kismath To The Theatres
Lal Jose is definitely turning out to be the ambassador of good films. Recently, the director distributed the much acclaimed film Lens, to the theatres, under the banner of LJ Films . Now, according to the latest reports, LJ Films would bring another small movie named Kismath, to the theatres. Moreover, Kismath has been produced by renowned film-maker Rajeev Ravi and his friends, under the banner of Collective Face One. The banner had earlier produced films like ID and Njan Steve Lopez. Kismath has been directed by Shanavas Baavakutti and the film is said to be based on a real incident. The film is a love story set in the backdrop of Ponnani region of Malappuram district . The film has Shane Nigam and Shruthi Menon in the lead roles. Shain Nigam, is the son of mimicry artist turned actor Abi. Shane had done a brief role in Rajeev Ravi's latest venture Kammatipaadam. The film also has Vinay Forrt, P Balachandran, Sunil Sukhada etc. in important roles. Well, it is a great initiative from Lal Jose as he is showing the right way forward by supporting quality films. Lens, the recent film that LJ Films ditributed, has went on to garner some excellent reviews and kudos to Lal Jose for taking the iniative to bring the film to theatres. Kismath is expected to hit the theatres in the last week of July.
Rajeev Ravi's next is a Dulquer starrer
Ace director Rajeev Ravi, who has stellar movies like 'Annayum Rasoolum' and 'Njan Steve Lopez' to his credit, is ready to with his next movie. This movie will have young heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. The finer details regarding the movie has not been revealed. Dulquer is currently shooting for Martin Prakat's 'Charlie'. He will join Rajeev Ravi's movie as soon as he finishes 'Charlie'. After the Rajeev Ravi movie, Dulquer will do the Samir Thahir movie. The young star has a slew of movies lined up after that too. Mani Ratnam's next is among them.
