The shooting of the film ‘Oru Rathriyum Randu Pakalaum’ has started at Trivandrum. Kunchako Boban and Bhama are doing the central characters of the film. Jijo Antony is the director of the film. ‘Kathaveedu’ was the last film of Kunjako Boban and Bhama. ‘Kathaveedu’ is releasing on August 23. ‘ 100 Degree Celsius’ and ‘D Company’ are the other films of Bhama.
Oru Mexican Aparatha To Bring Back Some Fond Memories!
Well, it seems like Mollywood is getting back to campus stories, but, definitely in a much better and innovative way, with fresh ideas. Oru Mexican Aparatha, is an upcoming film, which would be set in the the period of 1970's, narrating a story in the backdrop of the Maharajas college campus. A special audition was conducted by the team of Oru Mexican Aparatha, in search of young actors who could fit in to the roles of the students. Close to 50 people did turn up for the audition, appearing in vintage looks and the team of Oru Mexican Aparatha did sent out a photo through Facebook, mentioning that they have selected some fresh faces who would play the students of 1972 batch of Maharajas College. Tovino thomas, who plays the lead role in this film could be seen in the picture along with Roopesh Peethambaran, who is all set to make a comeback to acting. According to the reports, Tovino Thomas would be seen in the role of a campus leader in this film which would be directed by debutante Tom Emmatty. Oru Mexican Aparatha has chosen the much renowned Maharajas College in Kochi as its background. According to certain reports, the film is all set to bring back the golden days of the college on the screen. The makers also revealed that they would be conducting one more audition to select new faces to play another batch of students.
Oru Muthassi Gadha Trailer Review : A Refreshing Ride!
The official trailer of Jude Anthany Joseph's upcoming film Oru Muthassi Gadha is out. The trailer did hit the online circuits on August 30, 2016. Once again, Jude Anthany Joseph has come up with a trailer, which has something new to offer. The 1 minute 49 second long trailer is refreshing, much like his previous film, Ohm Shanthi Oshana's trailer. Actor Aju Varghese is the one who presents the trailer of Oru Muthassi Gadha to the viewers along with actor KTS Padannayil. From the trailer, it seems like the movie is a perfect family entertainer, with good dose of comedy elements. Oru Muthassi Gadha has its script written by the director himself and the movie revolves around an old lady, who is fondly called as Rowdy Leelamma. The film has an ensemble star cast comprising of actors like Suraj Venjaramoodu, Lena, Bhagyalakshmi, Aparna Balamurali, Vijayaraghavan, Rajeev Pillai, Ramesh Pisharody, Dharmajan Bolghatty etc. in prominent roles. Vinod Illampilly is the cinematographer of the film. Music department has been handled by Shaan Rahman. The film jointly produced by A V Anoop and Mukesh R Mehtha under the banner of AVA productions and E4 Entertainments, would hit the theatres on september 15, 2016.
Oru Naal Podhuma to be shot in Canada
Prathap Pothen is back in the Tamil film industry with Oru Naal Podhuma. He is wielding the megaphone for this film which stars Madhavan and debutant Rukmani in the lead roles. Rukmani is a student in the US of A. Music for this film is scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who have already made their presence felt in Bollywood, with ten super-hit films in their music direction. In Mumbai, five songs penned by Vairamuthu have been recorded. This is the trio's first Tamil venture. The muhurat of this film will take place in Canada on 15 April and the shoot will begin soon after the muhurat. The shooting is scheduled to take place for 60 days at a stretch. This is incidentally the first ever Tamil film to be entirely shot in Canada. Cinematography for this film is by Aravind and K Rajeshwar takes care of the story and dialogues. Oru Naal Podhuma is slated for release this August.
Oru Ponnu Oru Payan - An emotional love story
Oru Ponnu Oru Payan, a film directed by Naren Deivanayagam, who wielded the megaphone for Manathai Thirudi Vittai, is all set to hit theatres soon. The movie brings together who's who of the filmdom including Malayalam actor Madhu, Bhanupriya, Sarath Babu and Charanraj. 'The film is a love story with a lot of emotion in it. It shifts back and forth from city to the village. We are in the process of shooting a scene with some veteran artists involving our new find hero Sandeep and heroine Roopa', says the director. According to the director, 'Karthik Raja's music is another plus point for the film'. Produced by Dr P K Kesavaram and K Bharath Krishna, the story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Naren Deivanayagam. The film will hit the screens next month.
Oru Kal Oru Kannadi Story Reveals
Oru Kal Oru Kannadi sees Udhayanidhi Stalin as Saravanan and Hansika as his love interest Meera. The film has Santhanam playing a comic role as Parthasarathy. Director Rajesh M explaining about the characters in the movie says, “Saravanan is the ticketing incharge in a theater and Santhanam works in the canteen of the same theater.” He further added, “How these three meet and how love blossoms between the lead pair forms the crux of OKOK.” Rajesh said, “Udhay and Hansika chemistry was good on screens and Santhanam’s comedy sequences went good.” The director, who has Santhanam in all his films concluded, “I can make movie without a heroine, but can’t film it without Santhanam.
