After almost 10 years, Alu Arjun is all set to make his Kollywood entry in a grand way. He has signed a Tamil-Telugu bilingual to be directed by Lingusamy and produced by Studio Green. The shooting of the film is expected to begin in Feb and the details of the cast will be announced soon. Meanwhile, there was a recent buzz Keerthy Suresh is likely to play the leading lady in this entertainer however, the makers have denied it as just a rumour. In fact, the team is looking out for a fresh face as the heroine.
Kajal says, “Pairing Vijay excites me, Karthi is crazy”
Kajal Agarwal, who is busy with her second films opposite Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Jilla and karthi in All in All Azhaguraja is keyed up to join her co-stars again. It is known that Karthi’s All in All Azhaguraja directed by M. Rajesh is all set to hit screens this Diwali. Speaking on its front Kajal Agarwal says, “Karthi has mastered his acting skills compared to Naan Mahaan Alla and is keen on perfection. He will continue the same shot to excellence until he himself satisfies and been inspiring.” Comparing Karthi with his brother Suriya Kajal said, “Suriya is reserved, while Karthi is crazy. I’d fun in AAA sets with Santhanam and Karthi while Rajesh assured me I understand every dialogue.” Queried on Vijay’s Jilla, “I’m excited to work with Vijay again after delivering superhit Thuppakki. I’ll be seen in an action packed role in Jilla that will be wrapped soon, only few scenes and will be flying to Slovenia schedule,” concluded Kajal Agarwal.
Sumanth and Swathi are pairing up for a film with ‘Asta Chemma’ team
It is known that Sumanth and Swathi are pairing up for a film with ‘Asta Chemma’ team. And now, the ace cinematographer, Senthil Kumar will be handling the camera for this flick. He will be reportedly charging Rs.40 lakhs per film. Senthil has earlier handled the cinematography for super hit films like Arundhati, Magadheera. The film will be directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti and produced by P.Ram Mohan. Art Beat Capital Ltd will be present this film. Hari Mohan has provided the story. Apart from wielding the megaphone, Mohan Krishna Indraganti is handling the dialogues and the screenplay. The movie is inspired from the book, ‘The Men Within’ and also has a cricket backdrop. The film might hit the floors in the month of April.
Ranbir, Deepika pairing extremely special: Ranveer Singh
Actor Ranveer Singh is in awe of the performance of his colleagues Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in “Tamasha”. Praising Imtiaz Ali's directorial, Ranveer says the lead pair takes the storytelling to a new level. “'Tamasha' is absolutely brilliant, extraordinarily fabulous and exceedingly nuanced. Ranbir, Deepika pairing is extremely special. They truly up their game. Whenever they come on-screen they make the film delightful,” said Ranveer at a party to celebrate the success of "Tamasha" here. Ranveer, who is rumoured to be dating Deepika, will be seen romancing the actress in his next “Bajirao Mastani”. "Tamasha” narrates the story of internal conflict. It is about two individuals, who meet while on a holiday and decide to make-pretend during the trip, but problems erupt when they return to their real life. The film released on November 27. Ranveer went on talking about Ranbir as he asserted: “Ranbir is a stellar performer. He inspires me, words are not enough to explain his talent. I really look up to him.” The “Gunday” actor hopes for a similar response to historical love saga “Bajirao Mastani”. “I truly hope people go out in extensive numbers to watch our film. We have put our blood and tears in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's fantasy for a year. So we have worked so hard for it,” he said. “Bajirao Mastani" has been a longstanding dream of the filmmaker which is finally being realised, transporting audiences to a land of love, war and signature opulence. It is slated to release on December 18.
Pulkit Samrat: Huge compliment that people love Yami and my pairing
Rather than getting bothered by is link-up rumours with Yami Gautam, actor Pulkit Samrat says such stories only prove the popularity of their on-screen chemistry. The two have been rumoured to be seeing each other since they began shooting together for "Sanam Re". Pulkit says he and Yami are "way beyond" the stories written about their apparent off-screen romance. "It's been nice that people have been loving the pairing. I haven't seen such a response to any pairing for a long time. It feels very nice. It is a huge compliment for the hard work that we have put in. We really appreciate that. I am very happy," the actor told PTI in an interview. "Gossip or rumour about personal life does not bother me. If people are saying whatever they are saying, I take it as a compliment for the on-screen chemistry that we share. That means people like our work. Had people not liked our chemistry, they wouldn't have said anything about us. I don't care about the rumours. We are way beyond that." Pulkit and Yami have re-teamed for another love story, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's "Junooniyat" and the most of the buzz around the movie is courtesy their much talked-about equation. The actor says people might feel that he and Yami decided to be a part of the film after working on "Sanam Re" but it was "Junooniyat" which the pair had signed first. "'Junooniyat' was the first film that we signed. 'Sanam Re' happened later and we both did not know that the other person is doing 'Sanam Re'. We started shooting for 'Junooniyat' before 'Sanam Re' and after 10-15 days we were on the sets of 'Sanam Re'. We shot the two films simultaneously." "Junooniyat" follows the romance between an Army officer, Jahaan Bakshi (Pulkit), and a simple yet strong-headed girl, Suhaani Kapoor, played by Yami. Pulkit, the fact that "Junooniyat" is a love story of two similar people sets it apart from other romantic films. "A highlight of the story for me was that it is love between two very similar people. Normally, we see the story of two opposites falling in love but that's not the case here. I found that interesting. A love story definitely demands a great on-screen chemistry between its actors but according to Pulkit chemistry not only depends on the performing artists, but the whole crew which works to get each romantic scene right. "Definitely, the most important part of a love story is the chemistry between the two actors because a love story is about a guy and a girl meeting and falling in love. You don't see love coming across if the chemistry is not there. "But the chemistry is also not only about the two people playing the characters. It is also about how well they are written and performed and that happens only when the entire team is in sync."
