The most awaited psychological thriller of the year, Radhika Apte-starrer 'Phobia' releases on May 27. And while the trailer has given viewers the shivers, the #Phobia team decided to have some fun as well. They set up a prank on unsuspecting office goers who were lent a finger to swipe in .o the workplace. The only hitch was that the finger was a severed The #Phobia team put up cameras to capture hilarious reactions of the visitors and must say, their effort paid off really well. There wasn't a single visitor who didn't freak out when offered a severed finger to swipe in. The visitors were initially asked to swipe using their cards but obviously, the cards didn't work and hence, as an alternative, they were offered the finger, which scared them and sent chills down their spine. While some, aloof to the fact that they are a victim of a prank, are seen abusing the security-cum-receptionist guy for offering them a severed finger to mark their attendance, some people's reactions are funny beyond words. Radhika Apte to explore thriller genre with 'Phobia'
After impressing critics and audiences with "Manjhi: The Mountain Man" and "Ahalya", actress Radhika Apte is ready to show her acting skills in upcoming psychological thriller "Phobia". The film is co-produced by Eros International and NextGen Films. Radhika is excited to explore the genre for the first time, and said: "I absolutely love thrillers and horrors, so I'm very happy to be doing my first film in this genre. I am particularly excited to collaborate with Eros, Next Gen and Pavan on our project together." Pawan Kriplani, who directed "Ragini MMS" in 2011, will helm "Phobia", which will go on the floors on Saturday. Producer Viki Rajani of NextGen Films, who has earlier produced "R...Rajkumar" and "Table No. 21", said the team has faith in Radhika's acting prowess. "Radhika has proved her acting prowess time and again with her previous films. I am sure she will be able to deliver another enthralling performance in this genre, which is also a first for me. Pawan has earlier directed this genre expertly and audiences can look forward to a taut edgy thriller," Rajani said.
Radhika Apte in research mode for 'Phobia'
Critically lauded actress Radhika Apte, who has started the shoot of her next film "Phobia", is doing all-round research for her character. As the title suggests, the thriller/horror film revolves around some kind of a phobia -- the fear of something. Radhika has been meeting doctors and patients, apart from reading extensively about the subject to gather as much information as possible. She is in close contact with psychiatrists -- to understand the mental aspect -- and neurosurgeons -- for the biological aspect -- so that she understands better how a person reacts to a particular phobia. The actress has also been meeting patients and observing them to understand their behavioural patterns. This is giving her a better perspective of the film, thereby helping her to deliver a more nuanced performance. Talking about it, Radhika said in a statement: "I'm in touch with doctors and they have shared valuable information with me about the subject. It has helped me get a deeper understanding of panic attacks. "Apart from reading up about it, the first hand information has been very vital to the preparation of my character." The actress is currently shooting for "Phobia", post which she will start shooting for her film with Rajinikanth.
Techno phobic Rajat Kapoor!

Talented actor Rajat Kapoor (of Bheja Fry and Mithya fame) who will be seen next in Rakesh Roshan's Krazzy 4 starring Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, Suresh Menon, Juhi Chawla and Rajpal Yadav, directed by Jaideep Sen does not carry a cell phone and has his office handle all his calls n shoots'. and the team of Krazzy 4 were maha impressed with the promptness and diligence of Rajat's office as Rajat was available round the clock and never missed a single meeting or shoot and was always before time! Says the director Jaideep Sen, "Yes even though Rajat Kapoor doesn't have a cell phone we were in constant touch with his office and he used to immediately get back to us within minutes! His office is very organized and kudos to him for functioning so well without a cell! He was always on time and never missed anything!" Well, who says cell phones are a necessity'not for Rajat Kapoor!
