Child actor Harshaali Malhotra, who plays a mute girl in Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", has touched the hearts of viewers with her endearing performance. But she is extremely talkative in real life, says her mother. "Harshaali never keeps quiet. During workshops, Mukesh (Chhabra, the casting director) used to tell me that he was worried how she could keep quiet," Harshaali's mother Kajal Malhotra said in an interaction with journalists. "There is no difference in her as a person. The way she was earlier is exactly how she is now," she said, emphasizing how shooting schedules haven't affected Harshaali. Shooting with a child is not only difficult for the filmmakers but also for the child. "Whenever there was action or any high-pitched sound, she would get scared. But Salman (Khan) and Kabir (Khan) would take special efforts to ensure that she interacts with other co-stars by playing, after which she became comfortable during the shoot," Malhotra said. Among the flood of compliments Harshaali's has received, one which deserves mention was when Farah Khan termed her "the find of the century". The popularity Harshaali has received is there for everyone to see, but her mother says they will try to ensure that she balances studies and acting seamlessly. "Whatever we'll decide for her career would obviously depend on the offers we receive, but we wouldn't prefer television very much," she said. Harshaali has also acted in TV serials like "Qubool Hai" and "Laut Aao Trisha" and advertisements.
Real life drama
Truth becomes stranger than fiction when real life imitates it rather than the other way around. Sonali Kulkarni saw a reality drama even more interesting than her reality show Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa when shooting for cinematographer-turned-director Mazhar Kamran's social satire Mohandas. Sonali plays a television reporter doing an investigative story. The sequence required her to interview Sharbani Mukerji about her plight in a rice field. According to the script, while the interview is on, some people from the town charge towards the reporter and force her to abandon the interview and leave the place. 'We had chosen a particular field for this sequence and had taken due permissions,' says Mazhar. 'However, when we started the shoot, one of the owners of this field suddenly came rushing in and asked us to leave. Very patiently we tried telling him that we had taken prior permission and paid the necessary sum of money. But he started shouting and ordering us to scram. When I offered to pay money, he became abusive. That's how our shoot went and we eventually had to leave too and shoot elsewhere, but I told my reel-life goons to learn from this real incident!' Mohandas also stars Nakul Vaid, Sushant Singh, Sharbani Mukerji, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Akhilendra Mishra and Govind Namdeo and is written by Uday Prakash.
Neil Mukesh's real life stunt
Lets tell you about Neil Mukesh and his real Life stunts. Recently he was shooting on the sets of Freeze wherein the scene involved him riding in a rickshaw with a speeding car approaching his vehicle. This time Neil couldn't have asked for a more thrilling experience. The speeding car had to stop just inches before from Neil's rickshaw. But the driver seemed to lose control and looked like he was heading for a collision. Neil instantly jumped from his rickshaw along with the driver. Well thank god for Neil's reflexes. All's well that ends well.

Humko Deewana Kar Gaye is a real life story
Cinema is considered a mirror of real life. Humko Deewana Kar Gaye stands evidence to this. A couple living in Toronto inspires the film made by Raj Kanwar. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif play the lead. The film is inspired by a couple that Raj met in Canada two years ago through his common friends. The couple was engaged to someone else before they got married. This is also the story of Raj's film. In the film Akshay plays an auto engineer Aditya who is engaged to Sonia (Bipasha) a fashion designer. Jia (Katrina) is also engaged to someone else. The story unfolds in Calgary in Canada where Aditya and Jia fall for each other. Of the two in real life, the man is from Punjab and the woman is from some Asian country. The film tries to tell people how we fall for just one person in life whatever be the conditions. The film will premiere on April 13 in Toronto and the couple will be made public on that very day. They shall also be the guests of honor for the evening. The film celebrates the spirit of love.
Apna Asmaan inspired by a real life
Receiving accolades as the 'German Star of India' at Stuttgart Film Festival and also getting selected in the 'San Luis Cine Festival International' which is held in Argentina, the unusual treatment and gripping story makes the film one of the most intriguing and remarkably different films of the year. Talking about the story of the film, director Kaushik Roy revealed, 'Though the story was a work of fiction, a lot of things were true'. The film is based on his own son Orko's life ' a mildly autistic slow learner. He further adds, 'Orko had serious motor coordination problems where till the age of eleven, he could not hold a pencil properly to write A, B, C' Suddenly one day, he turned his handicap into his strength by starting to draw with bold, uninterrupted lines. This inspired me to encourage people to look beyond their weaknesses and parents to encourage children to pursue their own dreams rather than chasing their own.' After this incident was shared with actor Irrfan Khan, he developed a very special relationship with Orko. In fact when they were shooting for the film, Irrfan would start his day by taking a photograph of Orko and him together. Even to this day every mail or sms from him to Kaushik will always have a mention about Orko. Apna Asmaan directed by adman turned filmmaker Kaushik Roy, co produced by Umang Pahwa and distributed by Sony Pictures, is all set to hit the theatres on 7th September, 2007. The film boasts of a stalwart cast led by Irrfan Khan and Shobana (her first Hindi film) and backed by a strong ensemble cast which includes new find teenage Dhruv Panjuani, and veterans Rajat Kapoor and Anupam Kher. About the Film The film is about a teenager's journey to be loved and admired for what he is rather then what his parents want him to be. Apna Asmaan takes this story line 'How far would you go to make your child a genius?' The film gives it the sensibility of an urban thriller, making it an entertaining yet thought-provoking film about parents and their demands of their children.
