It has been nearly three years in the making, but Rebel, the Rajendra Singh Babu directed film starring his son Auditya seems to be finally set for the final course towards release. Two posters of the film were this week made public by Auditya, announcing that the audio of the film will be released shortly. The film could therefore have a September release. The posters show Auditya with a smoking gun. It was in December 2010 that Auditya registered the title Rebel. The film was launched the following year and was said to be about a spy. Babu had announced that permission from the armed forces has been sought for shooting. However, after a year, the film stopped making news. When people had almost forgotten the film, it has come back to life. Without much fanfare, the shooting has been completed. Babu had directed his son's debut Love a decade ago. Now it is to be seen if the father-son combination works with an action film.
Rebel First Look on Prabhas Birthday
Prabhas’ Rebel movie First Look stills release is planned for Prabhas birthday, according to the production source. Insider hands opine that the Rebel first look photos will be released for Prabhas birthday and the movie will hit the screens in December. The movie unit will be leaving to Bangkok where the unit would shoot action sequences and songs. Prabhas would be romancing with Tamanna and Deeksha Seth in this movie, which is directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by J. Bhagwan and J. Pulla Rao. Rebel is being tipped as out and out masala entertainer and it’ll be interesting how stylish will Prabhas be in Rebel first look posters.
The Rebel Star is Back
A film with the story based on the shortcomings of the present educational system is being completed. Titled as 'Dr.Paramanandaiah's Student's Gang' this film will see the return of the rebel star Krishnam Raju in the title role. The second schedule of this movie directed by Raavipalli Rambabu has already been completed. This commercial entertainer is produced by G.Srinivas Reddy. Two more songs will be shot in Malaysia and Bangkok. The actors playing the main roles are Policheral Ranganath, Myuri and Gautham Raju.
Prabhas Rebel Audio Release in November
Young rebel star Prabhas’ upcoming movie Rebel audio release date will be in the last week of November while Rebel release date will be in December 2011.Anushka and Deeksha Seth are playing heroines besides Prabhas in Rebel movie. According to the latest reports, the makers are planning to launch Rebel audio songs function in November and Rebel release date would be in December. Prabhas has already suggested several changes in the script, in fact Lawrence almost rewrote the script to suit Prabhas image. So we’ll have to wait and see whether those changes will pay off? Prabhas Telugu cinema Rebel is produced by J.Bhagavan and J.Pulla Rao under the Sri Balaji Cine Media banner. Choreographer turned director Lawrence is directing the movie. Rebel producers J.Bhagavan and J.Pulla Rao said that Rebel movie shoot is planned to shoot in the outskirts of Hyderabad, Vizag and Bangkok and Prabhas is donning a new look in this movie. The shooting of Rebel will be wrapped up in November and will hit the big screens in December. SS Thaman is scoring music while Ram Prasad and Marthand K Venkatesh are acting as cinematographer and editor respectively.

Prabhas upcoming Telugu movie 'Rebel' would be shooting in Bangkok from August 10 to September 5 . Rebel movie shooting is currently taking place at Aluminum factory in Hyderabad where a special set has been erected. The unit is canning action episodes between Prabhas and other casting supervised by action director Ram – Laxman. Anushka and Deeksha Seth are playing heroines besides Prabhas in Rebel movie directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by J Bhagawan and Pulla Rao.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ upcoming movie ‘Rebel’ is currently undergoing shoot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Rebel is in the last leg of production and the entire shooting will be wrapped up with this schedule. Although reports suggest that the film is getting ready for this summer release, it looks highly doubtful given the magnitude of post-production works and other patch work scenes. Recently, music director Thaman has backed off from the film and now director Raghava Lawrence is rendering the music. Also, initially, Anushka has opted out of the project due to issues with Lawrence. So Prabhas would be romancing with Tamanna and Deeksha Seth in this action thriller which is produced by J.Bhagwan and J. Pulla Rao. Rebel movie boasts of great action episodes canned in Bangkok.
