Do not be surprised on how Mega Star Chiranjeevi is connected with recently released dubbing film ‘Remo’ from producer Dil Raju introducing Siva Karthikeyan to Telugu audience. The film proved to be a success for its simple script, beautiful camera work, top notch production values and most importantly the refreshing chemistry between two lead artists Siva Karthikeyan, Keerthy Suresh.‘Remo,’ we mean Siva Karthikeyan is in Hyderabad from last couple of days enjoying the success by visiting theaters to watch first hand reaction of audience. ‘First among all, I want to thank Megastar Chiranjeevi garu for appreciating ‘Remo’ teaser, songs. He said, he would watch the film soon and I thank him for that,’ said Siva Karthikeyan.‘Remo’ has been a great debut for this young, talented artist and he will be forever indebted to Dil Raju for providing such a grand debut platform. ‘Now that Telugu patrons accepted me as their hero, I hope I do more films here and see lot of success. Remo directs Jimmy Sheirgill for promotional music video
Regardless of the box office status of his films, Jimmy Sheirgill continues to keep himself busy while working in multiple projects at an alarming rate. Barely has his VICTORIA NO. 203 released and he would soon be seeing the release of his adventure thriller CHODDON NAA YAAR. Also starring Kim Sharma, Kabir Sadanand and Farid Amri along with Mahek Chahal in a special appearance, the film is aiming for a 21st September release. To bring a momentum in the film's publicity, a promotional music video has been shot around the best track 'Kasak' from the film. Says Jimmy, "It was a good experience with Remo who has shot the promotional video. Also the song is quite good with a soothing appeal." Rendered by Anand Raj Anand himself (who also composes for the film), 'Kasak' is a song about being together in leave. With a serene feel, it recreates 'pahadi' surroundings. The sound of flute is prominent in the song while the usage of musical instruments too is just apt with no western influences whatsoever.
Remo D'Souza to make more films in ABCD franchise
"Any Body Can Dance 2", directed by Remo D'Souza, has had a fantastic opening weekend at the box-office earning more than Rs.60 crore at the domestic box-office already and the delighted director plans to prolong the franchise. Five days after the release, D'Souza, interacting with the media, said: "Currently I'm just enjoying the success of ABCD 2 and I want to stay in this feeling for some days." "The more fans shower me with love, the more I'll feel accepted and supported. And if that happens, I'll definitely make more movies in this franchise... ABCD 3 and 4 will be made." Though some critics have pointed out faults in the script of the film, there haven't been any questions about the picturization of the dance sequences which have enthralled especially the kids and the youth.
Remo first look teaser on June 9
First look teaser of Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo will be launched on June 9th along with the film’s theme music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is being directed by Baghyaraj and it has been produced on a massive budget that they have eminent technicians like PC Sreeram behind the camera, Resul Pookutty for sound design, Muthuraj for art direction and Anu Parathasarathy for costumes. Sean Foot, who earlier worked in Shankar’s I is taking care of Sivakarthikeyan’s different looks in the film. Keerthy Suresh of Rajini Murugan fame is the romantic interest of Remo and KS Ravikumar too plays an important role.
Remo D'souza casts all-girls dance group in his next film
Director-choreographer Remo D'souza's 'ABCD' franchise was all about how a group of dancers struggle to make it big and gain recognition worldwide. And now, in a clear case of reel meets real, he has cast a group of dancers in an important sequence in his next directorial. A source says, "Remo was in Sangli for an event and was totally impressed by this group of nine girls, who go by the name Eli Angels. They showed off some freestyle and hip-hop moves and Remo was so smitten by their performance that he immediately cast them for his film, 'Flying Jatt'." The source continues, "Eli Angels will be seen in a song in the film and the girls have already started practicing for the same. Remo has asked them to audition for his upcoming dance reality show as well."
'Remo' title changed?
Since yesterday there have been rumors doing rounds that actor Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming romantic entertainer 'Remo' has undergone for a title change due to Tax exemption concerns. It is said that the title has been changed as 'Renganathan Engira Mohana' to make it a Tamil title which is one of the basic criteria for a film to be eligible for Entertainment tax exemption given by the Tamil Nadu State Government. However the makers of 'Remo' have denied this as a baseless rumor. The title of the film will remain as 'Remo' forever and it will not be changed. 'Remo' the proper name of a character. It is neither a short form of any other name nor a combination of two names. Directed by debutant Bhagyaraj Kannan and produced by RD Raja under 24AM Studios banner. ;Remo' is all set to hit the screens on October 7 on account of Aayutha Pooja holiday. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles.
