As reported earlier Arvind Swami will be teaming up with Salim fame director Nirmalkumar for Sathuranga Vettai 2. Trisha will be the female lead. The latest we hear is that the makers are supposedly planning to start the shoot of this flick from the 15th of October in Chennai. We are told that it would likely be a 15-day long schedule. Ashwin Vinayagamurthy will take care of the music department while cinematographer Venkatesh will wield the camera for this film produced by Manobala's Picture House.
Arvind Swami to lead Sathuranga Vettai 2
If reports are to go by, Arvind Swami will play the lead in director Vinoth’s Sathuranga Vettai 2. The first installment was a sleeper with its tight screenplay and interesting storyline. It is reported that the team approached the Thani Oruvan actor, who immediately gave his nod. There are also reports that Arvind Swami will make his Hollywood debut soon.
Arvind Swami and Tamannaah pairup Sathuranga Vettai 2?
Sathuranga Vettai was produced by Mano Bala and directed by Vinothkumar. There is also a buzz that Arvind Swami and Tamannaah are the strong contenders for this sequel. We were the first ones to tell you some time back that the hot and handsome Arvind Swami has been approached for Sathuranga Vettai sequel. Sources suggest that the Thani Oruvan baddie and Thozha heroine have been approached but yet to sign on the dotted line. If this combo gets firmed up, it will be the first time the duo will be sharing screen space. Official confirmations are awaited and we would keep you posted!
Thani Oruvan, Dhruva, Bogan, Sathuranga Vettai 2 actor Arvind Swamy to direct a film in 2017
After giving a flamboyant performance as the suave and stylish antagonist in 'Thani Oruvan', actor Arvind Swamy has become the most wanted in film industries. He reprised the same role in 'Thani Oruvan' Telugu remake 'Dhruva' which has turned out to be a blockbuster.Arvind's next release in Tamil will be 'Bogan' in which he has acted again with Jayam ravi the hero of 'Thani Oruvan'. He has also signed to play the lead role in 'Sathuranga Vettai 2' with Trisha and started shooting for the same. He will also be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit 'Bhaskar The Rascal' and is also expected team up with director Selva with whom he has delivered the super hit comedy flick 'Pudhayal' which released in 1997.Now the ageless and handsome actor revealed his plans to venture into direction in 2017. Speaking to a English daily, the 'Minsara Kanavu' actor revealed that he enjoys being part of the creative process and he has penned two scripts which will be announced by the end of 2017.It will be an interesting wait to know what Arvind Swamy has to offer in the creative fields of screen writing and direction.
Yet another heroine joins Sadhuranga Vettai 2
Arvind Swamy and Tirsha are playing the lead roles in the sequel of Sadhuranga Vettai and the film has already gone into floors. Vinod who directed the prequel has penned the script for this movie, and it is being helmed by Nirmal Kumar. The shooting of the movie has already commenced and is progressing. Now a new heroine has joined the cast of the movie and it is none other than Poorna aka Shamna Kasim. Reports say that she has a pivotal role in the plot.
A Big Worldwide Release after 'Sathurangavettai'
After the critically acclaimed super hit 'Sathurangavettai', Natarajan aka Natty acted in the film 'Katham Katham' before getting busy with the cinematography of the Vijay starrer fantasy flick 'Puli' directed by Chimbudevan. Now Natty is back to acting in Kollywood and is presently acting in the lead role in 'Enkitta Mothathe'. The first look of the film written and directed by debutante Ramu Chellapa has been released. The film has Parvathy Nair and Sanchitha Shetty of 'Soodhu Kavvum' fame as female leads. The supporting cast includes Radharavi, Rajaji, Vijay Murugan and many other popular actors. Natarajan Sankaran of 'Moodar Koodam' and 'Kappal' fame is rendering the musical score. M.C.Ganesh Chandra is handling the cinematography while Athipappan Siva takes care of the Editing. Big ticket production company Eros International has acquired the worldwide release rights of 'Enkitta Mothathe' from the producer. We can expect a grand release for this film which will surely increase Natty's popularity as a Kollywood hero.
