Victory Venkatesh's new movie titled Shadow has completed its first schedule in Hyderabad and the second schedule of the film will begin from Mar 6. 'Shadow' is being directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Paruchuri Prasad on Universal Movies banner. Reportedly, Thaman has bought new equipment and is set to change his sounding pattern totally for this movie. Tapsee is romancing Venkatesh for the first time and Srikanth, Madhurima are playing important roles. Kona Venkat and Gopimohan have worked on the script which features Venkatesh as Don.
Prabhas to play 'Shadow' under Puri direction
Noted producer KS Ramarao is planning a film on the banner of Creative Commercials under the direction of Puri Jagannath with Young Rebel Star Prabhas as hero. It is reliably learnt that the film is based on a story scripted by popular Telugu detective novels' writer Madhubabu. Trisha and Sanjana are going to play heroines opposite Prabhas, while young music sensation Devisri Prasad is giving tunes for the movie. As his earlier film 'Munna' was not that big hit on the expected lines, Prabhas is keeping high hopes on this movie called 'Shadow'. The film would be released in 2008.
Pawan’s The Shadow on sets from 15th April
Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s new film The Shadow is all set to start rolling its camera from 15th April. Being directed by Kollywood director Vishnuvardhan, Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a don in the film with a mafia backdrop. Sarah Jane Dias has grabbed the opportunity to pair up with Pawan Kalyan as a female lead in this stylish action entertainer while second female lead is not yet confirmed by the film-makers. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the tunes. Pawan Kalyan will also simultaneously shoot for Gabbar Singh, which is the remake of Dabangg in the direction of Harish Shankar along with The Shadow. On the other hand, Pawan’s Teenmaar is getting ready to hit the big-screens in the second week of April.
Pawan Kalyan’s Shadow is story of 5 people
Pawan Kalyan’s next flick tentatively titled as Shadow under the direction of Vishnuvardhan will begin its regular shoot from 6th May in Kolkata and 50% of the movie is planned to be wrapped up in the schedule. While Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali laviana are playing the leading ladies, the film also casts Seshu Adavi and Kollywood ator Sampath Raj in vital roles. Sampath will be seen in a negative role in the film. As per the sources information, the story of this stylish action entertainer deals with five people and their lives. Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a new look in the movie and his role also involves some negative shades. Shadow is being produced by Arka Media and Sanghamithra Production banners jointly.
Prabhas to play hero in 'Shadow'
It is well aware that noted producer KS Rama Rao is planning a film on the banner of Creative Commercials under the direction of Puri Jagannath, who rewrote the Tollywood collection records with his blockbuster like 'Pokiri' with Young Rebel Star Prabhas as hero. It is learnt that the director had prepared a good story for the film. It is also learnt that 'Shadow' is the title under consideration for this movie. Already Puri Jagannath is known for creating a different trend in his film titles. His first film was 'Badri', next came, 'Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam, Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, Sivamani, Pokiri, Desamuduru'. All these titles denote that they are different from routine. It is learnt that his latest flick with Ram Charan Teja is being named 'Chiruta'. Puri Jagannath had also registered another title 'Kantree' in the Film Chamber.
Veyyil to cast a shadow in Cannes too
Director Vasantha Balan is over the moon now. His Veyyil has been selected for screening at the most prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The movie would be screened on 19 May at 5.30 pm. Produced by Shankar, the movie stars Pasupathy, Bharath, Bhavana and debutant Priyanka in the cast. Music is by G V Prakash. According to a letter sent to producer Shankar by the Government of India Directorate of Film Festivals- 'Veyil has been selected for screening in the 'Tous les Cinemas du Monde' (All the Cinemas of the World) section at Cannes.' A happy Vasantha Balan says, "I owe it all to producer Shankar. The industry needs the likes of him, who encourage new talents and fresh ideas without compromising on the quality.'
