Music composer Imman is a busy man with plum projects in his kitty. Among his other projects, he also would be composing for three films which will have Udhayanidhi Stalin as the lead. They are one each with director Gaurav, Ezhil and Thalapathy produced by Lyca, Red Giant and Sri Thenandal respectively. Myna musician says it is just coincidental and elaborates, “Actually, it did not happen that way. I had already worked with Gaurav in Sigaram Thodu and we have a good rapport. That’s how I came in this film. As regards Ezhil sir, I have worked with him in many films with the exception being the recent Velainnu Vandhutta Vellakkaran. So, that explains my presence as music composer for this film. I know Ponram’s assistant Thalapathy from Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam days. He used to be present during the composing sessions then. We are all like family members. It is a sheer coincidence that Udhay sir is there in all these films. We were to work earlier in Gethu and later Suseenthiran sir’s project (with Udhay). Since it did not happen, this time Udhay sir was keen that I am there in the venture. I will be doing these films at different times. First, I will be working on Ezhil’s, followed by Gaurav’s and then Thalapathy’s film”. We wish you the best Imman!
Udhayanidhi Stalin to team up with director Ponram's assistant
Udhayanidhi Stalin looks to be on a signing spree. The producer/actor who apparently has 2 projects, one with Ezhil and one with Sigaram Thodu director Gaurav Narayanan, is likely to sign another film for Sri Thenandal Films. Supposedly Ponram’s assistant Thalapathy will be making his directorial debut in this yet to be titled film. Sources say that Udhay will work on this project after completing Ezhil and Gaurav’s films. Other cast and crew details and an official confirmation from the team on this project are still awaited.
Imman recorded first song for Vikram Prabhu's next
Viewers are aware that Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya are pairing up for an upcoming untitled Tamil film being directed by Ezhil. Latest on it is music composer D. Imman has recorded his first song for the film. Composer himself posted in his Twitter page: “Recorded 1st trk with @sathyaprakashdharmar for Dir.Ezhil's next starring @VikramPrabhu n Sridivya...Praise God! ” Vikram is said to don village look once again for this romantic drama film set in a village near Thanjavur. Vikram plays the role as an aspiring young businessman who is forced to continue family's traditional singing troupe. First shot is canned on Tamil New Year day while regular shooting started in May. Meanwhile, Vikram Prabhu has wrapped up Arima Nambi and Sigaram Thodu shooting schedules and awaiting the release dates...
Vikram Prabhu, Priya Anand pairs up
Vikram Prabhu has been busy with the shooting schedules of Arima Nambi in the direction of Anand Shankar, being produced by Kalaipuli Thanu. Anand Shankar is the former associate of filmmaker AR Murugadoss. Priya Anand, who has recently scored a hit with Ethir Neechal is roped in as the leading lady in the film, which marks the first combo of Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand. The shooting schedules of the film have commenced from June 3 in Chennai. Sivamani is providing the musical scores for the film and RD Rajasekhar is cranking the camera. Bhuvan Srinivasan is the editor for this action entertainer. Apart from Arima Nambi, actor Vikram Prabhu is simultaneously shooting for Ivan Veramathiri and Sigaram Thodu films.
