Vijay's Thalaivaa being the biggest release of 2013 on the four day weekend 9th of August adds more excitement to Ilayathalapathy fans as Thalaivaa will be the landmark 100th Tamil film to release during 2013. Kollywood has screened 99 Straight Tamil movies and 50+ dubbed movies this year so far from Jan 4th to Aug 2nd. Seemingly AL Vijay directed, Vijay and Amala Paul starrer Thalaivaa that recently cleared censors with U certificate, is the 100th Tamil cinema releasing in 2013. With GV Prakash’s youthful music album, Nirav Shah’s DOP, editor Anthony’s final cut and lavish production by Chandraprakash Jain’s Mishri Productions, Thalaivaa is all set to hit the mega screens on Aug 9th, as milestone 100th Tamil film 2013. Kaaviya Thalaivan audio in June
Siddharth, Vedhika, Pruthviraj and Nasser starring Kaaviya Thalaivan is gearing up for the audio release in June. Though the exact release dates are yet to be finalized, makers are likely to release Kaaviyathalaivan music in June and movie is slated for the grand release sometime in July. AR Rahman has composed music tunes for Siddharth's Kaaviya Thalaivan. Award winning director Vasanthabalan has wielded the megaphone for Kaaviya Thalaivan that casts Anaika, Thambi Ramiah and many others in the key roles. Sashikanth's Y Not studios and Varunmanian's Radiance Media combinely produced this period drama film with Nirav Shah's cinematography.
Ajith is Thalaivan now
Director Madhesh who churned out the Vijay flick 'Madura' is all set to team up with Ajith for a film titled 'Thalaivan'. Though 'Madura' went on to be a commercial success, Vijay fans felt there was something missing. This reportedly has wedged a wall of professional silence between Vijay and the director. Madhesh however went on to direct Vijayakanth in the film 'Arasangam' which was well received by the public. Buzz is that Madhesh wanted to team up with Vijay once again but then has met with stony silence from the other end. This probably made the director approach Ajith. The actor fondly called 'Thala' by his fans is reportedly happy with the story and has given a go-ahead to Madhesh. In all probability, once 'Aegan' is released, work on 'Thalaivan might start. Reports also suggest that Madhesh is currently abroad scouting for locations to film the song sequences. When every actor tastes success, they are referred to as Thalaivan in publicity materials and by fans. Interestingly, the name 'Thalaivan' may be used as the title of a film for the first time. Something Ajith fans would simply love.
Vijay’s next is titled as Thalaivan
Vijay, the handsome actor who is busy shooting for Thuppakki with director Murugadoss and lined up with Gautham Menon’s Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru, is reported to have signed ace director A.L.Vijay. A.L. Vijay has finished the script for his next with Vijay that is titled as Thalaivan, which is touted to be an action entertainer that will have music by G.V.Prakash. Meanwhile Madrasapattinam director is busy with Vikram, Anushka, Amy Jackson, Lakshmi Rai and Jagapathi Babu starrer Thaandavam.
Thalaivaa audio launched on grand scale
Vijay’s Thalaivaa audio has been launched on a grand scale on June 21 in a five-star hotel in Chennai. Several Kollywood celebrities and the cast and crew of Thalaivaa graced the event. The unit members Satyaraj, Amala, GV Prakash, NA Muthukumar, AL Vijay were all praises for Ilayathalapathy Vijay and shared their happiness working with the star actor. While GV Prakash and Saindhavi rendered for couple of songs, a group of youngsters performed on stage. Thalaivaa audio and theatrical trailer have been released on the event and the fans are delighted with the entertaining songs and high-impact trailer. Thalaivaa is produced by Chandaraprakash Jain of Sri Mishri Productions. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer.
Thalaivaa, biggest release in Vijay’s career
Vijay's Thalaivaa is one of the most awaited films of the season with sky high expectations surrounding the project. Producer Chandraprakash and Vendhar Movies are in plans to release Thalaivaa in highest number of screens in Vijay’s career. Plans are on for the Telugu dubbed version of the movie and it may release simultaneously with Tamil version in the month of August. A leading distribution house in AP is holding discussions to acquire dubbing rights for Telugu version of Thalaivaa. Amala Paul is playing the female lead in Thalaivaa, also casting Ragini Nandwani, Santhanam and Sathyaraj in prominent roles. Directed by AL Vijay, the film has GV Prakash scoring the tunes and Nirav Shah cranking the camera.
