Prithviraj, the young actor who is also the co-producer of The Great Father, finally revealed lead actor Mammootty's role in the movie. Mammootty is playing the central character David in the movie. It is the first time Prithviraj is visiting the sets of The Great Father, despite being the co-producer of the film. The actor shared some candid clicks with Mammootty and team, on his Facebook page.As per the reports, Mammootty's character David is a doting father, who shares a deep bonding with his little daughter, played by Baby Sara. The movie depicts how David seeks for his daughter.Arya, one of the co-producers of the movie, is playing a pivotal role in the movie which is originally written for Prithviraj. If the reports are to be true, it is a negative-shaded, performance-oriented character. The movie will feature popular actress Sneha in the role of David's wife. Mia George, Malavika Mohanan, IM Vijayan, Manikandan Achari, Aryan Menon, etc., essay the supporting roles in the movie.The Great Father is written and directed by debutante Haneef Adeni. The movie is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, under the banner August Cinema.
Prithviraj is Not But Arya In Mammootty's The Great Father
Prithviraj, the young actor was rumoured to be making a special appearance in the upcoming Mammootty starrer The Great Father. But, as per the latest updates, Tamil actor Arya has replaced Prithviraj. According to the sources, Prithviraj backed out of the project due to his extremely busy schedule. The movie is jointly produced Prithviraj, Arya, Santhosh Sivan, and Shaji Nadesan, for August Cinema. It is the third Mollywood outing of Arya, who entered the industry with August Cinema's debut project Urumi. Later, he joined as the fourth member of the company and acted in their 2015-released venture Double Barrel. My Great Father, which stars Mammootty and popular child artist Baby Sara in the lead roles, is written and directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni. Sneha essays the female lead opposite Mammootty in the movie. Reportedly, the movie which is said to be a family thriller, depicts the story of the deep bonding between a little girl and her protective father. The rest of the star cast and further details are will be revealed soon. The project is expected to start rolling, immediately after Mammootty completes his current project Peranbu, directed by Ram. My Great Father is slated to hit the theatres as a Christmas special release.

On the occasion, the evergreen comedian of Tamil Cinema J P Chandrababu will be remembered. In association with the Department of Posts, the trust will bring out a postal cancellation and special postal cover on Chandrababu. K R G, president. South India Film Chamber of Commerce and veteran music director M S Viswanathan will speak on the occasion.
Raja The Great gets its release date
Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Raja The Great in Anil Ravipudi’s direction is fast nearing its completion, with only 30 per cent of the shooting remaining. Ravi Teja is essaying the role of a visually impaired man in this film. According to the latest update, Raja The Great will tentatively be released on October 12. We will have to wait for an official announcement from the makers. Young beauty Mehreen is romancing Ravi Teja in the movie. Dil Raju is producing Raja The Great and Sai Karteek is composing the music.
Iranian Guard chief says US 'still the Great Satan'
TEHRAN, Iran – The head of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard said Tuesday that the U.S. is still the "Great Satan," regardless of the nuclear deal struck with Americans and world powers over the Islamic Republic's contested nuclear program. The comments by Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, reported by the official Guard website, said that "the enmity against Iranian nation by the U.S. has not lessened and it has been increased." "We should not be deceived by the U.S.," Jafari reportedly said. "It wants to infiltrate into Iran, resorting to new instruments and method." The Guard and hard-liners remain suspicious of the U.S., even as authorities look over the historic accord that curbs Iran's nuclear program in return to lifting economic sanctions. Earlier Tuesday, Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, the head of powerful Iran's Experts Assembly, which oversees the nation's Supreme Leader and institutions under his supervision, also said the nuclear deal will not alter Iran's foreign policy toward the United States. "The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the U.S. its No. 1 enemy," Yazdi said. "If you try to discover the root of the sedition that is happening around us today, you will identify U.S. as its main supporter." His remarks echo those earlier made by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. But while Khamenei hasn't said whether he supports the nuclear deal, he has praised the work of the country's negotiators. Meanwhile Tuesday, the state news agency IRNA quoted Tehran's police chief, Gen. Hossein Sajedinia, as saying his officers detained several people for distributing apparel bearing the flags of the U.S., Israel and Britain, as well as items bearing Satanic symbols. Such crackdowns on Western items are common in Iran.
