Thozha performs well in Boxoffice
Thozha which has released last friday has got raving reviews from both the viewers and critics. This film is also making good business in the box office.The movie was released in over 325 screens in Tamil Nadu. Thozha has performed better than the two other films - Zero, Vaaliba Raja, which have released on the same day, and thanks to the positive word of mouth. As per the reports, the film has grossed has collected 8.15 crores in the first week and grossed around 10 crore rupees in the first four days.
Tamanna dubs for Thozha
Mumbai beauty Tamannaah Bhatia stepped into Telugu film industry. The actress went on to play lead roles in some of the biggest blockbusters in Telugu, Tamil and Bollywood. Tamannaah’s next Telugu release is Thozha. For the first time in her career, Tamannaah will be dubbing her own voice for her film. Fans can finally get to hear Tamannaah’s own voice in Thozha. Incidentally, Tamannaah will also be dubbing for her ongoing Tamil film, Dharma Durai, her first ever feat in Tamil. While Thozha is slated for a March 25 release, Dharma Durai will hit the screens in June.

Anbu Thozhi gets the go-ahead
The Censor Board has cleared all decks for politician - turned actor Thol Thirumavalavan's maiden venture on screen Anbu Thozhi. The movie had run into trouble after the regional censor board has denied granting permission for the film. The movie features Thirumavalavan in the role of a rebel, championing the cause of Tamils. The officials at the Censor Board denied certifying the film contending that the scenes in the film glorify the LTTE leader Prabhakaran recently. Reports suggest that the story was loosely based on the life of the banned outfit's leader. The latest news is that all problems have been cleared and the censor board has nine cuts for the movie which refer to Lankan issue.
