Nani's villain is 'Andala Rakshasi' actor
After Srinivas Avasarala in Gentleman, it's the turn of yet another actor to don the mantle of a villain for the first time - for a Nani film. It's Naveen Chandra of Andala Rakshasi fame. The news is that Naveen Chandra will play a negative character in Nani's film with Trinadha Rao Nakkina of Cinema Choopistha Mama fame. The actor is lucky because it not only has a hat-trick hero playing the lead role, but it's also produced by an ace producer - Dil Raju. The actor hasn't had success at the box office so far, but since his first film became popular on television, his stubble face is pretty much familiar. He has since acted in some Tamil movies. His recent releases, namely Tripura and Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi were big flops. This film stars Keerthy Suresh of Nenu Sailaja fame in the lead role. Currently in pre-production stage, the film may go on the floors sometime in October.
Swathi Locks a Date to Scare
Horror comedies are back in form. With Omkar's Raju Gari Gadi faring exceptionally well at the Box Office, makers of Swathi's Tripura are gearing up for release. After a lot of dilly dallying, finally the makers have locked in Nov 6 as the date. Raj Kiran, who proved his mettle with his debut Geetanjali, which in turn is horror comedy, is again testing his luck for the second time with same genre. Kona Venkat and Veligonda Srinivas have jointly penned screenplay. Unlike RGG and Geetanjali, Tripura is tipped to be a complete Horror thriller. It's buzzed that Swathi has performed well as usual and expected to take the film to new high. Recently, the film's preview has been screened for selected people in Hyderabad and it's said that the film got decent talk. Let's wait and see how far Swathi would be successful in scaring us. - See more at: http://www.gulte.com/movienews/43634/Swathi-Locks-a-Date-to-Scare#sthash.6Js1uRMo.dpuf
