Dhanush has been keeping all his fans in excitement ever since he stated that he will be making a mass announcement soon. All of us tried to decode his secret surprise announcement. And now Dhanush has finally made the all-important announcement through his official Twitter handle that reads as “#D33 bless us @soundaryaarajni @theVcreations @RSeanRoldan @anirudhofficial #bilingual Tamil and Telugu..” accompanied by a video footage. According to this, Dhanush will be acting in the sequel of Velaiyilla Pattathari. It will be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. There are a few things which are a little unclear on this project. 1. Earlier this project was titled as NEEK. One is not sure if it is the same story with a different title or a different project altogether. 2. Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films logo is also being displayed after Thanu’s V Creations. So, are there two producers for this project? 3. Music composers Anirudh and Sean Roldan are tagged in Dhanush’s tweet. Does this mean that both the composers will be working in this project? We will inform you once clarity emerges on this. All the same, best wishes to Dhanush and team as the unit is preparing themselves to commence the shoot in December 2016.

Anirudh Ravichander dedicates concert to Chennai flood victims
Young composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander, who will be performing at the Powerade Centre in Brampton here on Saturday, has dedicated his concert to victims of flood-hit Chennai. Ravichander, who has composed songs for Tamil films like “3”, “David”, “Irandaam Ulagam”, “Velaiyilla Pattathari” and “Maari”, took to Twitter on Thursday to express his sympathy to the people of Chennai. “Landed in Toronto. Thanks to all the fans who welcomed us at the airport. Dedicating the concert and proceeds to the Chennai Floods victims,” Ravichander tweeted. Ravichander is best known for composing the hit single "Why this kolaveri di", which was sung by Tamil star Dhanush. The song has received over 100 million views on YouTube.
Dhanush says, 'One at a time in B-town'
Southern superstar Dhanush, who will be next seen in R. Balki's film, is not keen on taking more than one film at a time in Bollywood as he is still finding tough to understand the culture and pulse of the Hindi film audiences. Dhanush, who made his Bollywood debut with "Raanjhanaa" this year, wants to take it slow. "I would like to take one film at a time, atleast here in Bollywood because it is very difficult for me to understand the culture, understand the pulse of the audience," Dhanush told reporters here Friday at the red carpet event of fourth season of Celebrity Cricket League. "Everybody can't understand the pulse of the audience completely but I want to give my best through my research as much as I can and do it correctly. I want to take it slow," he added. In Balki's film, Dhanush will be sharing the screen space with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Currently, he is busy shooting for Tamil projects "Velaiyilla Pattathari" and "Anegan".
