Vijay Raghavendra who had no releases for a while is all set to come back with his latest film 'Chellapilli' which is all set to release this week. Now the question on everybody's lips is whether Vijay Raghavendra's recent victory at the 'Big Boss' will help the film bring the audience to the theatres or not? Off late, many of Vijay Raghavendra's films have failed not only to get a good opening but also failed to sustain at the box-office. None of Vijay Raghavendra's films released in the recent times have been able to make a mark and all the films have failed miserably. Now it has to be seen whether Vijay Raghavendra's recent victory will help the film or not?
Victory Venkatesh as 'Tulasi'
After giving a sensational hit like 'Lakshmi' Victory Venkatesh took a small gap and is presently working in 'Aadavari Matalaku Ardhaley Veruley' under the direction of Selva Raghava (Sri Raghava) who gave a feel-good love story like '7/G Brindavan Colony' and is being produced by Shanam Naga Ashok Kumar. Meanwhile, puja activities began for another mass entertainer in Venkatesh's home production to be directed by Boyapati Srinivasa Rao, who gave a mass hit film like 'Bhadra' and is being produced by D Sureshbabu on the banner of Suresh Productions at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad recently. The regular shoot of the film would begin from October 15. It is reliably learnt 'Tulasi' is the title confirmed for the film. While Venkatesh made 'Lakshmi' a hit by playing as Lakshminarayana, this time he is ready to enthrall the audiences as Tulasi Reddy and make 'Tulasi' a success. After the success of 'Lakshmi', Nayantra is again pairing up with Venkatesh in this film. Devi Sri Prasad would provide music for this film and Akula Siva who gave story for 'Lakshmi' had again provided the storyline for 'Tulasi'.
Victory Venkatesh busy in action scenes
Popular producer D Sureshbabu is making a film on the banner of Suresh Productions under the direction of Boyapati Sreenu with Victory Venkatesh and Nayanatara in the lead. It may be mentioned here that Venkatesh and Nayanatara were proved a hit pair in a recent blockbuster called 'Lakshmee'. The combination is repeating in this movie. Recently some songs were canned on the hero and heroine in foreign locations. Presently some action scenes were being choreographed at Ramanaidu Studio. Three more songs are yet to be shot for the movie. Popular hero Sivaji is playing the role of heroine's brother in this movie. The able, efficient and young music director Devisri Prasad is scoring tunes for the movie. Venkatesh's recent flick 'Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule' had completed 100 days and the present film is all set to hit the screen on October 12.
Victory Venkatesh meets cricketers
Popular hero Victory Venkatesh met the Indian cricket team at Hotel Taj Krishna in Hyderabad on October 3. He congratulated the team for winning the World Cup in the recent Twenty20 matches and wished the team all the best for their ensuing third one-day international match to be played against Australia at Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad on October 5. Later, Venkatesh had also participated in the dinner that was hosted by State Minister JC Diwakar Reddy to the Indian team at his residence, along with State Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and other ministers.
'Victory' coming on June 14
The film 'Victory' with Nitin and Mamta Mohandas in the lead is all set for release on June 14. Venkat is producing the film on the RR Movie Makers banner and Ravi C Kumar is the director. Jagapathi Babu his given the voice over for the film and Chakri is the music director. Sashank and Sindhu Tulani are second lead pair. Ashuotosh Ran, Ravibabu, Ajay, Bharani, MS, Krishna Bhagavan and others are among the star cast.
Victory slated for release on June 27
Directed by Ravi C Kumar, presented by K Achireddy and produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movie Makers, 'Victory' with Nithin and Mohan Mohandas in the lead is slated for release on June 27. Co-producer of the film Suresh Reddy says, 'We gave a tagline which reads 'We for Victory'. True to this tagline, we are very confident about the success of the movie.' Presenter of the film Achireddy says, 'The film came out very well. All the artistes and technicians would earn a very good name for working on this film.' Director Ravi C Kumar says, 'The film deals with a fight between the land mafia and a common man. It will also have gang wars. How the hero emerged victorious is the climax. I am confident that the film would enhance the image of the banner and also earn me a good name as director on the lines of films like 'The End' and 'Samanyudu''. Asuthosh Rana played the villain, while Shashank, Sindhu Tulani, Ravibabu, Ajay, Duvvasi Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, MS Narayana, Supreet, Krishna Bhagawan, Nutan Prasad, Ranganath, Tarjaan, Narsing Makkala and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Chandrabose, action is by Ram-Lakshman, editing is by KV Krishna Reddy, camera is by Vijay C Kumar, music is by Chakri, while story, screenplay and direction are by Ravi C Kumar.
