Actor Aadi Pinisetty, who was last seen in Tamil thriller "Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka", has been reportedly roped in to play the antagonist in actor Allu Arjun's next yet-untitled Telugu project. "Aadi has been signed on as the baddie. Director Boyapati Srinu really liked his performance in his last film and felt he would be perfect for the role with grey shades. The official announcement will be made soon," a source from the film's unit told. Aadi's performance in "Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka", which was released as "Malupu" in Telugu, was raved by audiences and critics alike. The film, which will feature Rakul Preet Singh as Arjun's love interest, will be produced by Geetha Arts. It is set to go on the floors soon.
Aadi signs a Biggie after Sarrainodu!
Anushka signed female-centric film 'Bhagmathi' long back. The film is a biopic of 'Bhagmati' who is the wife of 5th Sultan of Golconda dynasty Quli Qutub Shah. The Actor who is on a high after the stupendous success of 'Sarrainodu' happily agreed to be part of the project. With 'Sarrainodu', Aadi created a decent market for himself in Telugu States. Sampath Nandi impressed with Aadi
Filmmaker Sampath Nandi says he's so impressed with actor Aadi Pudipeddi's work in upcoming Telugu romantic-drama "Gaalipatam" that he wishes to work with him every year going forward. Nandi has produced "Gaalipatam", which also features Erica Fernandes and Kristina Akheeva. "If 'Gaalipatam' turns out to be successful, I would love to make a film with Aadi every year. He's such a committed actor and he's proved it with his work in the film," he told. "Many people questioned my decision to turn producer with this film. I didn't answer them because the film will speak for itself. It's a film set against the backdrop of IT people and will definitely appeal to the youth more other audiences," he added. Directed by Navin Gandhi, the film is gearing up for release soon.
Pranitha teams up with Aadi in 'Chuttalabbayi'
Actress Pranitha Subhash has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite actor Aadi Pudipeddi in upcoming Telugu romantic-drama "Chuttalabbayi", which was launched earlier this month. "Pranitha has been finalised as the heroine. It'll be an out-and-out entertainer and the regular shooting will start soon," a source from the film's unit told. To be directed by Veerabhadram Chowdhary of "Poola Rangadu" fame, the film will be produced by Venkat Talari. S.S. Thaman has been roped in to compose the tunes. The rest of the cast will be finalised soon.
