Metro directed by Ananda Krishnan was spoken about for its raw nature and bold narrative. The film dealing with chain snatching had found good patrons and reviews. Now the film will be remade in other languages too. Sharing the information, Ananda Krishnan says, “Yes, Metro will be going to other languages as well. I am going to direct the Hindi version and few makers have shown interest to buy the rights to remake the film in Telugu and Kannada” We also hear that Murali Gurappa of Kannada Circle Production House will be directing and producing Metro in Kannada. Aanand L. Rai to present Swara Bhaskar-starrer
Director Aanand L. Rai is set to present Swara Bhaskar-starrer "Nil Bate Sannata", helmed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, who is the wife of director Nitesh Tiwari. Asked about her new projects, Swara told reporters at a fashion event here: "I'm wrapping up the last schedule of Sooraj Barjatya's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', which stars Salman Khan and will be out on Diwali this year. "After that, my next release is a very beautiful film called 'Nil Bate Sannata', which is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and Aanand L. Rai is presenting it, so I'm very excited," added the actress, who has worked with Rai in films like "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" and "Raanjhanaa". Swara also shared that she is impressed with renowned filmmakers backing small-budget films. "So, if you look at the way Karan Johar helped in the release of 'The Lunchbox' or Aamir Khan supporting 'Peepli Live' and Kiran Rao helping 'Ship Of Theseus'... It's really nice to see that the industry works as a team when it comes to supporting a good film. So, I feel it's a good time for all kinds of films," said the actress. "It's definitely more difficult for an indie filmmaker to release the film. But things are changing and the nice thing about the whole setup is that more established producers and directors are lending their support," she added.
Aanand L. Rai begins filming 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi'
Filmmaker Aanand L. Rai, who delivered the blockbuster "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", has begun filming his upcoming production "Happy Bhaag Jayegi.” "And 'Happy' begins its journey in Amritsar. @krishikalulla @erosnow @cypplofficial @raghuvendras," Rai posted on Twitter. Nivin Pauly Launches Aanandam Official Trailer
Nivin Pauly, the crowd-puller of Mollywood launched the official trailer of Aanandam, the upcoming adventure film. Aanandam marks the production debut of Nivin Pauly's mentor cum best buddy, Vineeth Sreenivasan. The actor-writer-director is producing the movie under his home banner Habit Of Life, associating with Vinod Shoranur's banner Cast N Crew. Aanandam marks the directorial debut of Vineeth Sreenivasan's former direction assistant, Ganesh Raj. Nivin stated his deep excitement upon launching the official trailer of Aanandam, though a special note posted on his Facebook page. The actor remarked that he is highly happy and proud to release the trailer. The 1.43 seconds long official trailer is extremely promising, young, and fresh. It hints that that Malayalam movie industry will get to watch a breezy, light, campus story, after a very long time.
Vineeth Sreenivasan's Aanandam All Set To Release in UAE/GCC!
Aanandam, which is the first production venture of Vineeth Sreenivasan, is all set to hit the theatres in UAE/GCC. Aanandam, which marked the debut of Ganesh raj as a director and a host of youngsters as a newcomer has created waves at the Kerala box office. Now, according to the latest reports, the film is all set make a grand release in UAE/GCC. Reportedly, Aanandam would hit the theatres of UAE/GCC on December 1, 2016, making it the major Malayalam release in USE/GCC after the highly successful Pulimurugan. If reports are to be believed, the film would be distributed to the theatres by an Indian company named B Cinemas. Aanandam, which released in Kerala on October 21, 2016, has completed 6 weeks of run and is still going steady in centres like Ernakulam. The film, which has been produced by Vineeth Sreenivasan under the banner of Habit Of Life, did give a stiff competition to Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan, especially in multiplex centres of Ernakulam. The movie has already been declared as a big hit. Aanandam narrated the story of a group of college students who ventures out for a college tour. The film features newcomers like Arun, Thomas, Annu, Anarkkali, Rishan, Siddhi, Vishak etc., in the lead roles. Apart from them actor Nivin Pauly also appears in a cameo role in the movie.
