Actor Vijay Sethupathi's 'Dharmadurai' has released today amid huge expectations. This is the four release of the year for the versatile actor. Earlier it was confirmed that his 'Rekka' directed by Rathnasiva will be hitting the screens on October 7 for Aayutha Pooja festival holiday season. Now we learn that there will be another release of Vijay Sethupathi in between these two films. Sources reveal that 'Aandavan Kattalai' directed by Manikandan of 'Kaaka Muttai' fame with Vijay Sethupathi and Rithika Singh in lead roles will be hitting the screens on 16th or 23rd of September. Sri Green Productions have reportedly acquired the film's theatrical release rights in Tamil Nadu. A few hours ago, the first look posters featuring the lead pair have been released with the caption stating that audio release can be expected soon. Music director K has rendered the musical score for the film. We will however have to wait for the official confirmation on theatrical release of 'Aandavan Kattalai' happening in September. I this is true, VIjay Sethupathi will have three releases in three months.
Aandavan Kattalai gets clean U
Vijay Sethupathi’s Aandavan Kattalai trailer has been receiving amazing response of social media sites ever since it’s release. The film is all set to grace the screens this Friday and from the trailer it looks like a quirky entertainer with unique characterisation. The film has now cleared the censors with a clean U certificate. Directed by Manikandan of Kakka Muttai fame, Ritika Singh plays the female lead while Pooja Devariya, Yogi Babu, Nassar, Vela Ramamoorthy, R. N. R. Manohar, Cheenu Mohan and other form the supporting cast. The film is produced jointly by Gopuram Films, and Tribal Arts while distributed on a grand scale by Sri Green Productions.

Right from its title, Vijay Sethupathi's Aandavan Kattalai has been creating a lot of buzz in the industry. The film, directed by Manukandan, is expected to be a perfect comedy entertainer with all the right ingredients. In an exclusive interview to mymazaa.com the director has revealed that the film would feature the real Vijay Sethupathi. "So far, the audience might have seen the actor Vijay Sethupathi on screens, this film will show the real Sethupathi. Be it the emotions or comedy, everything will be realistic," he added. Vijay Sethupathi Ritika Singh Aandavan Kattalai Vijay Antony Saithaan on release on Septemeber 23rd
Fresh from delivering a hit in the form of ‘Dharma Durai’ directed by Seenu Ramaswamy, Vijay Sethupathi is all set to have one more release this month. ‘Aandavan Kattalai’ directed by Manikandan of ‘Kaaka Muttai’ and ‘Kutrame Thandanai’ fame is releasing on September 23rd. The film has Ritka Singh as Vijay Sethupathi’s pair and is said to be a thriller. Similarly the Vijay Antony starrer ‘Saithaan’ directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy is also hitting the screens on the same day. Also in the thriller genre, the film has Arundathi Nair as the heroine. We’ll have to wait and see which of the two Vijays will score big at the box office.
