Aashiq'a Cafe pappaya

Following the likes of Dileep and Nadhirshah, who has recently opened a restaurant 'De Puttu' to serve local cuisines, director Aashiq Abu who has ignited the recent interests in desi flavours with his movie 'Salt 'N Ppper' is ready to have another. His restaurant titled 'Cafe Pappaya' has opened at Kochy. Aashiq says that this hangout will help Kochians to taste great food at lesser costs. The design team of "Pappaya' is also a major stake holder in this Aashiq Abu venture. Aashiq Abu is currently busy with his new film 'Idukky Gold' which is currently under production.

Aashiq now to try Prithvi

Hitmaker Aashiq Abu seems to have got a penchant for announcing his projects much earlier than it gets ready to realize. The director who is currently doing an 'Idukki Gold' with five senior actors has two other announced projects with the Mollywood superstars-A Mammootty-starrer 'Gangster' and Mohanlal-starrer 'Kodumkattu'. But according to latest reports, Aashiq Abu has also committed himself for a new project with Prithviraj in the lead. This yet to be titled project will have 'Kadal' fame Jayamohan as the scribe. To be produced by scenarist John Paul, the other cast and crew details will be out in the coming weeks.

Rima to assist Aashiq

After their recent marriage, Rima and Aashiq Abu are planning a lot of things together. The latest to the list for Rima is to assist Aashiq in his new remake of 'Idukki Gold' in Hindi. The movie which tells about four middle aged man getting back together to revive their school memories will be on floors by the end of 2014. Rima has recently started a dance school in the name 'Mamangam' to teach contemporary dances. A trained classical dancer, she also plans to pursue a film direction course in London. Shortly after, she is all set to try a hand in direction too. Rima also has two upcoming movies in which she will be playing the lead roles. One of them 'Chirakodinja Kinakkal' will start next month while the other will be with her husband Aashiq Abu.
