More news →"Mirugam" Aathi gets a break
Aathi, who made his debut in Samy's "Mirugam", gets a break after waiting for months to get a good project. He has been roped in the project produced by director Shankar's 'S' Pictures. 'S' Pictures has announced the commencement of three new projects, directed by Naaga, Thamira, and Arivazhagan. The projects will be started after the release of "Arai en 305il Kadavul", directed by Simbudevan. All the three directors will be making their entry into directing a movie. Naaga has the experience of directing the TV serial 'Vidadhu Karuppu', while Thamira has written the dialogues for K. Balachandar's "Poi". The third director Arivazhagan is Shankar's assistant. Aathi will be the hero of the film directed by Arivazhagan. His pair will be Sindhu Menon. Aathi, who impressed everyone with his performance in "Mirugam", is lucky enough to get a project under a prestigious banner in his second film itself. Great going Aathi!
Aashish Chowdhary is back to Business!
If you thought actor Aashish Chowdhary had disappeared after Fight Club, well think again! The actor is back with a bang! Aashish is on a roll with 5 exciting films; one of them being Harry Baweja's Speed with Zayed Khan and Aftab Shivdasani. He will also be seen in Inder Kumar's Dhamaal with a big gang of boys- Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh and another film with Arshad Warsi again, titled Kisse Pyaar Karun, produced by K Sera Sera. Also in the pipeline is a film titled Kuch Love Kuch Drama produced by the makers of Tom, Dick and Harry. And not just commercial films, the actor has also shot in the beautiful lands of Kutch for an off beat festival film called The White Land as well! Well, seeing the extensive line up of films, the long break might just be worth it, right Aashish?
Aashish Chowdhary's Hat Trick with Sanjay Dutt!
Actor Aashish Chowdhary who received tremendous acclaim for his comic timing in Indra Kumar's Dhamaal is all set to score a hat trick of films with none other than Sanjay Dutt! After the first one Dhamaal, Aashish will be starring alongside Sanjay in Balaji and Popcorn's EMI, which stars Sanjay, Aashish, Urmila and Arjun Rampal amongst others. And the third film will be the fun filled sequel to Dhamaal- Double Dhamaal! Says Aashish, "It's a great pleasure to work with a person who is the nicest soul around. Being such a huge star, he is so humble and down to Earth and I'm glad I've got an opportunity to work with Sanjay in some more films after Dhamaal. He is a gem of a person!" Well, it's all work for Aashish this year!
Aashish to team up with Govinda and Lara Dutta!!
Actor Aashish Chowdhary who received tremendous acclaim after the hit Dhamaal is all set to team up with Govinda and Lara Dutta, we heard. The buzz is that after a special role in the Big B starrer "Bhootnath", Aashish will be seen in another yet to be titled film with Ravi Chopra, with a full-fledged role along with Govinda and Lara Dutta!!'.the film is on floors and looks like things are looking great for Aashish . Aashish is currently shooting for another biggie, Popcorn's "EMI" starring along with Aashish, Sanjay Dutt, Urmila Matondakr, Arjun Rampal and many more. He is also set to make a hat trick with Sanjay Dutt, with Dhamaal, EMI and the sequel Double Dhamaal on the cards. Well, its excitement and busy schedules ahead for Aashish, what say!
Arthi gets back home
When she was wheeled into the Apollo Hospital in a near unconscious state, doctors were not very sure about how soon Arthi Agarwal will get back to normalcy. Even after they operated on her, they were not very sure of her quick recovery. But thank God, Arthi seems to have recovered faster than expected and has been discharged from the hospital yesterday. The young actress, who was admitted to the hospital with severe head injuries she suffered under mysterious circumstances, is now back at her residence in the elite Banjara Hills. Though she is discharged, the actress will still be confined to bed and her long tortuous process towards total rehabilitation begins only now. She will be in bed rest for over 100 days. She is still unable to walk on her own and was wheeled out by her family. Before being discharged, her statement was recorded by the Banjara Hill police. It was revealed that she slipped and fell from the stairs in her residence. Let us wish her speedy recovery.
Arthi is back
Finally, some good news on Arthi Agarwal's front. The beautiful heroine, who had been away to the US after the head injuries she sustained some time back, is now all set to resume shoot from tomorrow. The news is that the buxom girl will get down to work for the delayed Andala Ramudu from tomorrow at Kerala. The movie, a remake of the Tamil hit Sundarapurushan, has Sunil playing the hero's role. A duet featuring them is set to be canned tomorrow. Produced by Mega Super Good Films, Andala Ramudu is directed by Deepthi.
