Lover boy Tarun, Vimala Raman starrer ‘Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbai’ film has completed its shooting part and is currently in the post-production works. The film-makers are planning to release the film in the end of May. The film is said to be a romantic entertainer. Vimala Raman will be appearing in a bikini for this film and few extremely hot scenes were shot between Tarun and Vimala Raman in the film. Tarun has pinned many hopes on this film since the actor has no hits in his last few films. The movie is being directed by Kanmani and is produced by Rajkumar Harwani and Gogineni Srinivas Rao together under the banner Supreme Movies and Pranav Studios. Anup Rubens is scoring the music for the film, while dialogues are penned by Gangotri Viswanath, and lyrics are by Rehman and Chinni Charan. Cinematography is handled by Vasu and editing is by Gauthamraju.
Abbas Tyrewalla- keeping up the momentum
The news is out. The current hottest director of Bollywood, Abbas Tyrewalla has announced his next project. And keeping up with his tradition of experimenting with different subjects, Abbas this time has gone for an adult romantic comedy. The title also is quite different from what the Hindi film lovers have come across so far. For the time being the movie is called as '1-800-Love' and it deals with the toll free help lines in U.S.A. Normally it takes at least one year for a filmmaker to come up with a fresh idea and transform it into a screenplay. So it will be quite natural for the people to get astonished on how Abbas Tyrewalla might have found the subject for this movie as 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' is still running houseful. When the film maker has a life partner who is as talented as he is, it makes up a powerhouse team for making stories. When Abbas was hell bent behind 'JTYJN' his wife Pakhi was on the creative roll constructing the script for '1-800-Love'. She finished it in a span of two years and helped Abbas to move on with this project fresh and reenergized after the sweet success of his directorial debut. In this film also some talented youngsters will get a golden chance to showcase their talents along with some established stars. As the story has an urban flavour and relates to the society and life in U.S.A, it will be shot there. Another young and talented film maker Madhur Bhandarkar who is good friend of Abbas is producing this film as both of them have been planning to work together for a long time. Given the penchant of both these film makers for always coming out with something absolutely refreshing, another classic new generation movie can be expected.
Abbas hurt in mishap
Abbas, the popular actor in Tamil and Telugu cinema, suffered injuries while shooting for a Telugu film. The actor, who made his debut with Kadhal Desam, had acted in over 30 films in different languages in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. Recently the actor was shooting for a stunt sequence for a Telugu movie Rudhraveenai. He appeared for a stunt sequence choreographed by Prakash without any dupe. In the melee, he sustained severe injuries in his arms and started to bleed. The actor was rushed to a neighboring hospital and was admitted. Shooting was called off and the actor was advised rest.
Abbas as villain
Abbas, who made a stupendous beginning to his career with Kadhal Desam, plays a baddie now. He has completed shooting for a Telugu film Sathyam Sivam Sundaram. The movie starring Nithin and Nila features Abbas in the role of a baddie. He plays a spoilsport in the romance between the lead couples. Abbas is optimistic that the movie would open fresh avenues for him in Tollywood. 'The movie has come out really well and hopefully I would get busy in the coming months', he adds.
Abbas as a baddie
Abbas made a successful start to his career with Kadhal Desam. The movie was a commercial success and Abbas became chocolate-box hero. However subsequent failures halted his progress. He soon settled down for character roles. Now he is trying a different route to success. The cherubic actor with a huge female fan following is now playing a baddie. Abbas has been cast in a negative role in a movie titled Sadhu Mirandal. The movie stars Prasanna and Kavya Madhavan play the lead roles. Interestingly the movie's Telugu version featured Abbas in the same role. Keen to make his mark as villain is Abbas.
Abbas, Tabu come together again
Abbas is going strong in Tollywood. The once sought after hero of Tamil Cinema, Abbas is making waves in Tollywood now. He is currently assigned to act in a Telugu movie opposite Tabu. The movie is directed by Chandra Siddhartha and Tabu plays my wife in the movie. Dwelling on the movie, Abbas, says, 'I play a journalist in the film'. Abbas is simultaneously shooting for a Tamil movie Sadhu Mirandaal. The movie features Prasanna and Kavya Madhavan in lead roles. Interestingly Abbas and Tabu had earlier acted in films including Kadhal Desam and Kandu Kondein Kandu Kondein before.
