The balls have started to roll for 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' in U.S.A with the lead pair of Prasanna and Sneha having already reached the country of opportunities. Director Arun Vaidyanathan who is based in U.S. and is directing his first feature film in Tamil is all exited about the young and energetic unit in charge of the film. The film which for the first time introduces an acclaimed Hollywood actor John Shea as the villain also uses a camera called RED for the first time in Kollywood. Right from the pre production stage the whole process was planned and treated with high professional standards that included even conducting acting rehearsal sessions for the actors so that not much time will be wasted during the actual shooing schedule. Besides launching a website exclusively for the movie titled www.aathemovie.com, a link which leads straight to the film's director's personal blog is also a novelty. Through this blog the readers can get information about the progress of the film's shooting right from the filmmaker's perspective. A session for rehearsing the lines in the script was held at actor John Shea's house in New York. The director through his blog describes John shea as a great host and also says that the people present there had a fantastic time due to John's great hospitality skills and stories from his experiences with the legend Jack Lemmon.

One of the latest cameras in the world of cinematography is the Red camera which is becoming quite a favorite among filmmakers in India. 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' the film starring Prasanna and Sneha in lead roles is based on global Tamil issues and is shot entirely in the United States of America. Chris Freilich, a renowned Hollywood cinematographer is working for the project with RED ONE HD 4k resolution camera. This is the first time this elite futuristic camera will be used for an Indian film. An interesting fact is that this camera has been used only for very few Hollywood films. This hi-tech camera has already got a fan following in the form of big time Hollywood directors like Peter Jackson and Steven Sodenberg. RED is the next generation technology that will combine both the quality of 35mm and the adept ability of digital editing and transfer systems. 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' A global thriller in Tamil
'Achchamundu Achchamundu' is a Tamil film made entirely in the United States of America and designed as a global thriller. The film stars Prasanna, Sneha and Hollywood actor John Shea in lead roles. This is a film that is said to be technically brilliant and the latest technology in the form of the Red Camera has been used. Probably for the first time in the Tamil film industry. The film is currently in the post production stage and work is going on in full swing both in India and the U.S. Directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, this film is produced under the Project East West-A banner. The producers ' Ananth Govindan, Asma Hashmi, Ramzan Lakhani, P. Srinivasan and Arun himself 'have united under the common goal of producing quality cinema with a global message. Amongst the producers, Ananth, Asma and Ramzan are citizens of the U.S and the latter two do not even know the Tamil Language. Achchamundu'. Arun Vaidyanathan is currently in India working on the re-recording of the film with music director Karthik Raja.

For the first time in Tamil Cinema, a film has been made using the services of Hollywood technicians in its entirety. The film is 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' and sources say that the film has shaped up in a stylish format with breathtaking intensity all the way. Hollywood praises 'Achchamundu Achchamundu'
'Achchamundu Achchamundu', a forthcoming film directed by Arun Vaidhyanathan starring Prasanna and Sneha in the lead roles. The film is the first of its kind in Indian Cinema to be shot in RED ONE camera, This futuristic camera, capable of making high resolution digital cinematography with jaw-dropping imagery, has only been used in a handful of Hollywood productions like 'Guerrila', 'The Argentine'among others. The Digital Intermediate process of 'Achchamundu Achchamunudu' is currently in the progress at Plaster City, Los Angeles where Michael Payser and John Labrie along with some other techinicians of Hollywood showed a lot of enthusiasm in watching the India's first Red one feature and with the director Arun Vaidhyanathan arranging to fullfill it, they watched some important snippets of the film and bestowed praise and appreciation on the crew for its technical brilliance. Michael Peyser has produced Hollywood films like Speed-2, U2, 3D and he is currently working on Laundry Warrior. Jon Labrie had taken the role of Digital systems architect in academy award winning 'Lord of the rings'. The special effects part of 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' is being done in U.S.A. and the film is nearing its completion.
Achchamundu': A Tamil film on global issue
Arun Vaidyanathan, a US based NRI is directing Prasanna and Sneha starrer 'Achchamundu Achchamundu', which was launched last Friday (March 8). The NRI surprised everyone by his fluent Tamil speech. His speech proved that he has kept his ties with his roots intact. The Seergazhi born professional, who is living in the US for the past eight years, revealed his passion towards Tamil cinema. He wants to deal with a global problem in 'Achchamundu Achchamundu', which will be shot in the USA. 'Achchamundu Achchamundu', produced by 'Project East West ' A' features Prasanna in a different role. The actor, who is in cloud nine after his successful experiments with different roles in 'Saadhu Miranda' and 'Anjathey', is quite excited about the role, which could seal his place as a versatile performer. Sneha accepted to act in the movie after she was very much impressed by the script. 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' promises to be a different kind of movie in terms of content and the making.
