Popular ramp mode Adam Bedi, son of Kabir Bedi, who was last seen in 'Charas' in a miniscule role will be making his comeback as a lead man in 'Strings'. A crossover film, 'Strings' stars Adam Bedi as Warren Hastings, a British youth. His character is persuaded to experience the Mahakumbh at the behest of his email friend, Maya (Sandhya Mridul), a cosmopolitan and Indian urban girl. On the other hand Warren too is interested in understanding the mysticism of India, which is beyond his realms of imagination. This has been nurtured within him by the writings of his grandfather in a personal diary written during his posting in India. A sensitive person, he sets upon a journey to unravel these secrets! The film is directed by Sanjay Jha who made his Bollywood debut with 'Praan Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye'.
ADAG arm bags rights of Warner's home videos
Anil Ambani led ADAG has been appointed as the exclusive licensee of Warner Home Video for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Now BMHE is able to distribute VCD, DVD, and Blu Ray products in these countries said the CEO Kulmeet Makkar. It is said India posses a huge size of home video market more than Rs 7 billion. Presence of piracy menace in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh is measured with 99 percent would be taken care through devising safeguarding the products, says the company. Despite having world classics like 'Gone with the wind', 'Ben Hur' etc. also has catalogues from Turner Entertainment, Castle Rock Entertainment, HBO Home Video and New Line Home Entertainment. The CEO added that forthcoming releases like "I am Legend", "10000 BC" would be released under home market videos. The company already an exclusive authorize licensee of Universal Studios International to distribute their home entertainer products in India and its neighboring countries.
Adah Sharma signs up for Commando 2
Commando 2 is the sequel to commando. this will be Produced by Vipul shah, Phantom pictures and Reliance after the super success of Kshanam, Adah will be seen next as the leading lady in this Bollywood film. if any of her live dance performances are to go by her stunts will be a treat to watch in this action film. Adah will soon also be making her tamil debut and another Bollwood big ticket film.
Kareena demonstrates her 'ada' for ROADSIDE ROMEO
Forget the Pooja of TASHAN, Kareena is all set to be seen in an altogether different avtar for Yash Raj Film's next production. Soon she would be heard as Laila and the film which would be giving her this platform is ROADSIDE ROMEO. ROADSIDE ROMEO - Well, that's the first ever animation outing for YRF where Kareena along with Saif Ali Khan would be giving a voiceover for the dogs. In fact it is going to be a Kareena v/s Kareena outing since ROADSIDE ROMEO would be arriving on 24th October while GOLMAAL RETURNS would be hitting the screens on 29th October. Though the first look of ROADSIDE ROMEO (featuring Saif Ali Khan's voice) was revealed months back when this Jugal Hansraj film was slated for Summer 2008 release, a delay to Diwali has resulted in the makers arriving with a new promo with Kareena in focus this time around. As Laila, the female dog who comes to give an audition for a heroine's role, Kareena gets the right 'ada' in place to demonstrate the naughty-yet-smart streak. She doesn't just tease the casting director with her monosyllabic yet confident replies, she also intimidates him with her smartness. Not just that, she also flutters her eyelashes when the right arrives and gives a lot more than just a simple message when the director probes deeper into skills. How exactly? Well, she just replies that she knows 'everything - just about everything'! Paving a way for far more interesting things to come as the film arrives in entirety, the special promo of ROADSIDE ROMEO has already made quite a splash! ROADSIDE ROMEO is slated to be the biggest animation movie ever coming from the house of Yash Raj Films with music by Salim-Sulaiman. The other star attraction of the film is Javed Jaffrey who also gives a voiceover for a dog.
Mahadevan to adapt Rebecca?
Director Ananth Mahadevan is keen on making a movie on an adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier's classic novel, Rebecca. Nothing is official yet but the buzz is that Mahadevan is considering Emraan Hashmi, Dino Morea, Ayesha Takia and Celina Jaitley for the cast. The plot of the novel goes as an inexperienced young woman who marries a widower Maxim de Winter and settles into his ancestral mansion realizes later that the memories of her husband's deceased wife Rebecca are still fresh.

A un called script action by Koel Purie, predictably unpredictable has gone and indulged in some Adam teasing on the sets of her forthcoming film 'Rock On'! The sequence required her co-star Purab Kohli to suddenly launch into a Karoke love song while he serenades Koel who is blushing and embarrassed about this public display of affection! Getting into the groove, even Koel gets over her embarrassment and cheers him on lustily! So involved and heady was the entire atmosphere with Purab singing away, that even the extras comprising of all foreigners were very impressed and kept applauding him. Koel also got carried away with the moment and pinched Purab Kohli's bottom which was not at all called for in the script!!!!! Purab, who was stunned by the gesture also paused momentarily and then took it sportingly and continued singing!!! The 'Rock On' carries a story line in which Koel Purie smitten by Purab and starts to love him.
