More news →Adivi Sesh, Adah Sharma team up for 'Kshanam'
Actors Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma have teamed up for the upcoming Telugu film "Kshanam", which is directed by debutant Ravikanth Perepu and produced by PVP Cinema. "With the perfect blend of suspense and romance, it's a film with different concept," Adivi told. The project, which also features television anchor-turned-actress Anasuya Bharadwaj in an important role, has already gone on floors. Adivi, who was last seen on the big screen in "Baahubali", is happy with his career. "Post 'Baahubali', I've been getting antagonist roles in big projects and protagonist roles in mid-budget films. It's been a good mix of offers and I'm choosing the best from what I've been getting," he said. He doesn't mind playing a baddie unless the role is "captivating". "I want to try and do roles that are captivating. John Travolta, for instance, played the villain in 'Broken Arrow', but you can't take eyes off him throughout the film. If I get to do such an important role, I wouldn't mind if I'm the bad guy," he said. Adivi will next team up with his filmmaker brother Sai Kiran Adivi for Telugu project "Chilpi Deyyam". "The 'Deyyam' reference in the title doesn't mean horror. This will be a sweet comedy. We plan to go on floors soon," he said, adding that he will also be seen in special appearances in upcoming Telugu projects "Oopiri" and next week's "Size Zero". "Both these projects have been very special. It was an honour to work with Anushka Shetty, who is a dear friend, in both the films. It was also lovely working with Nagarjuna sir in Oopiri, and with Arya in 'Size Zero'," he said. He is also in talks for two more Telugu projects.
Aravind Swamy and Tamanna in Tamil Thriller remake
Arvind Swamy & Tamanna have been coming together for a Thriller flick. This venture is said to be a sequel to Tamil super hit 'Sathuranga Vettai'. Not many knew, Trivikram's 'A..Aa' Cinematographer Natarajan Subrahmanyam played hero in 'Sathuranga Vettai'. Its the story of a guy who leads life earning easy money through gambling. Recently, A fake baba cheated Life Style building owner Madhusudhan Reddy in the name of performing rituals for good fortunate. There is a crucial episode based on such an incident in 'Sathuranga Vettai' as well. 'Sathuranga Vettai' is being dubbed as one of best films made in Kollywood. Vinod, a debutante, directed this thriller movie. Now, Pairing of Arvind Swamy & Tamanna will bring ample craze to 'Sathuranga Vettai' sequel. Hope, The end product doesn't disappoint!
Aravind Swamy wraps up Dhruva
It is a known fact that Aravind Swamy is playing the baddie in Ram Charan’s upcoming film Dhruva. The latest update reveals that Aravind has wrapped his part of the shoot. The talented actor made a successful comeback with the original version of Dhruva and has some very interesting films lined up. Touted to be an action drama, Dhruva will have some top of the pops action sequences which have been stylishly filmed by Surender Reddy.

Handsome Aravind Swamy’s re-entry into Tollywood with Mega Power Star’s ‘Dhruva’ is of course a good move because aged stars of yester year are endeavoring with their new dreams taking up stylish elderly roles. Transformation of Jagapathi Babu from a failure ridden hero to a victorious villain and superb supporting artist is another best example in recent times. None knows what time offers at certain point of career and fortunes really favored him. However, a section of film analysts opining on Aravind Swamy can become a potential threat to Jagapathi Babu is a theory which can be outright rejected. JB holds a place close to our hearts because of strong Telugu affinity in his looks, body language and dialogue delivery. To be far more specific, JB made a place even in Tamil hearts portraying important characters. Age, physical attributes, flexibility to perform in mass or class scripts and many more of such artistic qualities one can find in Jagapathi Babu have no match with other contemporaries. At the best, Aravind Swamy can only be a stylish villain to sparkle in couple of films. More than anything else, it is impossible for producers to satisfy his remuneration demands.
