The well–known director Ameer’s next flick has been titled as ‘Adhi Baghawan’. Jayam Ravi will be playing the lead role in the movie. The movie will go on floors by March. The title ‘Adhi Baghawan’ will have a tag line Kanmoodithanamana Kadhal which means irrational love. The film is produced by J Anbazhagan, former MLA of DMK party while Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film. Gurudev will handle the charge of camera. Sources say that earlier Ameer and Jayam Ravi would work together in ‘Kannabiran’ but the film has been stopped for the time being.
'Deiva Magan' is now 'Adhi Narayana'
'Deiva Magan' starring Meera Jasmine in the lead role went to the floors a few weeks ago. The film reportedly has rechristened as 'Adhi Narayana'. The film's director Vettri Vendhan, said, ' We chose the name 'Deiva Magan' because we felt it was an appropriate title for the story. However due to some unforeseen circumstances, we are forced to go for a title change.' The movie stars a newcomer Kajan. Meera Jasmine plays the heroine. According to reports the actress was impressed with the storyline and agreed to be part of the film. Kajan says, 'Meera has encouraged and motivated me a lot. Initially I was afraid to share the screen with such a seasoned actress. However she helped me overcome the fear'. Produced by S Balaji, the movie has musical score by Srikanth Deva.
Anirudh on Vanakkam Chennai Adhi’s song
Anirudh Ravichander is composing the tunes for Vanakkam Chennai, upcoming Tamil film casting Shiva, Priya Anand in the lead roles and the current sensation composer has promised that the album will be unique and enjoyable. Anirudh has revealed the lyrics of the song crooned by Chennai-based rapper Adhi for je film by tweeting, “Vendaame namakkul betham ! Sandaigal potathu pothum. Endrendrum vaazhum desam, nam India! Song feat. Adhi in Vanakkam Chennai! Coming soon.” Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is helming the project Vanakkam Chennai that also casts Santhanam, Rahul Ravindran and Urvashi in prominent roles.
