Tarun and Arthi Agarwal proved a hit pair with 'Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu.' Afterwards they again paired up for 'Soggadu'. There were rumours that Tarun and Arthi were in love with each other and had an affair. It was also rumoured that their marriage was not materialised as their parents did not agree and Arthi had attempted to commit suicide. Only God knows what was the truth behind these rumours. However, these two did not play together in any film later. Tarun, who had no notable hits in the recent past was off the film industry for some time. Now, he is making his re-entry into films after some gap in a film 'Navavasantam' to be produced on the banner of Mega Super Good Films. Besides Tarun, Akash and Rohit are also playing heroes in the movie to be directed by Shahjahan and jointly produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain. It is reliably learnt that Arthi Agarwal was selected as heroine to play opposite Tarun. It may be recalled here that Arthi had last played heroine in 'Andala Ramudu' opposite Sunil in a film produced on the same banner, which was a runaway hit. The alleged suicide attempt was also occurred during the shooting of the film. She completed the film and took some gap for accepting any other film. Again she reportedly signed the dotted line for the same banner. Besides Arthi, Priyamani and Charmme are also playing heroines in the movie. Another interesting point here is that a Tamil dubbing film that came with the same title was a big hit in Telugu.
Aditi Agarwal in jail
Poor girl is in news for all the wrong reasons. She was seen on all major television channels beating up a Telugu TV journalist along with her father and brother. Consequently, she landed herself in jail. The incident happened late afternoon yesterday, the threesome was arrested by the Gandhinagar Police and released later. Aditi was taking part in the wedding ceremony of her elder sister and actor Aarti Agarwal. It is said that a formal case has been booked on all the three involved. It was initially reported that it was a non-bailable warrant and that they would be kept in jail for at least a fortnight. But the latest on the case is that the said television channel would be withdrawing the case as Aarti's family had said sorry to the reporter involved in the ruckus. It is being said that the poor reporter had to face the consequence of some earlier reports that were aired about Aarti Agarwal's attempted suicide some time back by the channel. Already Aditi hardly has any films in Tollywood. Wonder where such behaviour would take her career?
Kajal Agarwals next with Srihari
Well, at least they are both part of the cast. Srihari will be seen as a cop in the film titled Seven. It has Kajal Agarwal and Nikita playing the female protagonists. Srihari is considered to be lucky for younger heroes. So, we hope Vaibhav who has had a dud with his debut film will gain from this film. The film is being made under the Amma Creations' banner. The film's shooting is currently on in the city. The film's director Venkat Prabhu happens to be the son of Ilaya Raja's brother Gangai Amaran. He has made films such as 'Chennai 28' in Tamil. The film will have four heroes in all, though only two have been finalized yet.
Kajal Agarwal injured
Actress Kajal Agarwal, who cut a cake to celebrate her birthday earlier today on the sets of Tamil film 'Modhi Vilayadu', sustained injuries in her head while shooting for the movie at the AVM Studios in Chennai today. Kajal Agarwal, who made her debut in Tamil with 'Pazhani', was shooting for 'Modhi Vilayadu' opposite Vinay. While filming a sequence that involved the hero Vinay and Kajal to perform a kind of sword fight, the sword hit her head and she started bleeding. She was immediately taken to a private hospital. The actress, who played the female lead in Bharathiraja's 'Bommalattam' which is yet to be released, was advised rest for the next two weeks. Four stitches were necessary to get the wound healing. An unfortunate incident for Kajal Agarwal and that too on her birthday. Cheer up girl'.you'll get back to action soon.
