It seems our pretty lass Aishwarya Rai is in a fix due to date trouble. Hollywood actor Will Smith has signed her for his upcoming movie and wants dates from her for three months starting from July this year. And this is the time she has already committed to Ashutosh Gowarikar for his movie Jodha Akbar. The buzz is that Aishwarya asked Gowarikar to delay the shoot but he is unable to do so because then he needs to get new dates from Hrithik Roshan. So if Will Smith doesn't delay his film it will be a great loss for Aishwarya.
Aishwarya's The Mistress Of Spices releases 21 April
The Mistress Of Spices, a movie directed by the debutant Paul Mayeda Berges and produced by Deepak Nayar and Gurinder Chadha is all set to release simultaneously in UK and India on April 21. The movie stars Aishwarya Rai, Dylan McDermott, Nitin Ganatra and Padma Lakshmi. This is quite a talked about film as Aishwarya and Gurinder are once again coming together for a film after Bride and Prejudice.
Aishwarya back in action after Guru injury
After getting injured while shooting for Khakee, its second time that Aishwarya is hurt. She was in Badami in Karnataka shooting for Mani Ratnam's Guru last Friday when the accident occurred. According to sources, the shooting had finished for the day when Aishwarya still in her costume was riding a vintage bicycle. The cycle got stuck in a pothole and she fell down with heavy injury on her fingers. The locals got her a tetanus injection and she is now back in action for her shoot as she has to wrap up the shoot by 15 May after which she will be leaving for Cannes.

Lot of news and gossips on Rajinikanth's 'Robot' are coming out day in and day out. The latest buzz about the film is that the beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be paired opposite superstar in Shankar's 'Robot'. Shankar who had been to Mumbai recently, was believed to have met Aishwarya Rai. It is rumored that Shankar went to Mumbai in the first week of January and discussed the script and her role with Ash. Aishwarya, according to the grapevine, had gone through the script thoroughly. She is yet to decide about 'Robot'. Shankar is very keen that 'Robot' must be bigger than 'Sivaji'. It is quite natural to rope in a big star like Aish, who has international acceptance, into 'Robot', which will be the biggest ever film to be produced in India. Moreover, since the film is planned to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, Aishwarya will be the right choice, as she has popularity all over the nation. Aishwarya's name has been associated with Rajini's films since 'Padayappa'. Now he is signed for a new film and the name of Aish surfaces again. Aishwarya confirms acting in Robot
There was news making the rounds yesterday that we might not get to see the Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai acting opposite our superstar in the sci-fi flick 'Robot'. The reason that was sighted that she wanted to have babies before she hits 35. But Aishwarya herself has quashed all rumors and confirmed that she will be acting as Rajini's heroine in Shankar-directed 'Robot'. She has confirmed this in her latest interview to a private news channel. Talks are going on that Aish will star in on more Manirathnam film soon. This film will be a bilingual in Hindi and tamil. The best part is that Aish will get to act opposite her Husband Abhishek Bachchan in this film too. The earlier film we saw the coming together of this real-life pair was in Manirathnam film 'Guru'. This whooping 125-crore big-budget film will soon start rolling, and we have reports that Aish has already received a whooping sum as advance for her role in this film. Aish has said that she has liked the script of 'Robot' in which she gets to essay a very different and novel role.
