Akash to play hero in 'Krishnakanth'
K Murali is directing and producing a film titled 'Krishna Kanth' on the banner of Uma Creations with Akash as hero with a tagline 'Veedu Evadnee Lekka Cheyadu!' The recording of songs for the film began on July 12. It is said that the film would be a love story with action backdrop. A new face would be introduced as heroine opposite Akash. It may be mentioned here that the producer cum director K Murali had earlier brought out films like 'University Blues and Sorry, Vellostaa''. Vijay, Chitram Basha, Rahul Raj, Srinivasa Reddy and others are in the cast. Though Akash got a very good break with a film titled 'Anandam', he could not withstand in the industry as hero and the reason was said to be the selection of poor stories. 'Piliste Palukutha'' is the last film of Akash in which he played a solo hero. Though he appeared in a supporting character in 'Andala Ramudu', Sunil earned a good name with the movie as hero. Lyrics are by Daddy Srinivas and Paidisetti Ram, camera is by Jagadish, while story, dialogues, screenplay, producer and direction are by K Murali.
Akash gets to play the lead finally
Remember Akash who played the hero in Anand? Though he acted in films like Piliste Palukuta, he couldn't get success. He was seen doing supporting role in films like Andala Ramudu and a cameo in Dhi. Even in Nava Vasantam, he plays one of the main characters. Looks like lady luck has smiled on him once again. He has currently been signed to do a film as a hero. It will be directed by Ram Gopal Varma-trained Srinivas. The film is being produced by Avula Ramesh and the shooting will begin on November 2.
Akash debuts as director for 'Sweet Heart'
Akash who shot into fame with his first film 'Anandam' turned director for 'Sweet Hearts'. It is just a coincidence, says Akash, who added that he had prepared a story and screenplay with a nice subject with love in the backdrop. He casually broached the storyline with the producer MG Ratnakar, who immediately agreed to produce the film on the banner of Devi Movies and asked Akash himself to handle the megaphone as he had good grip on the subject. Moreover, Akash is playing the hero too with Tamanna, Suhasini and Daisy in the female lead. RB Ram is playing another hero in this flick. Choreographer Cool Jayant is assisting Akash as co-director. The shooting of the film is now in progress at Dr BR Ambedkar Open University premises. Over 45 per cent shooting was already complete. Narri Raj is scoring music. Let us remind you a secret that Akash, before making his entry as hero, underwent training in direction.
Akashdeep Accuses Farah Khan of Being Unfair
Akashdeep Saigal is a sore loser. The 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi' star vented anger at former girl friend Farah Khan after being ousted from the Sony show 'Jhalak Dikhlaja'. The dance reality show has been like walking a tight-rope for Khan because very few people had known earlier that she had a relationship with temperamental Saigal. Akashdeep didn't spare Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shilpa Shetty, accusing them of being inefficient to judge a dance show like this. He even berated his fellow participants like Shveta Salve whom he called a good dancer but a bad human being. Farah Khan on her part is tightlipped about the whole thing and is considering opting out of the show as apparently she is having trouble explaining 'things' to her husband Shirish Kunder. Akashdeep earned fame by playing the highly negative character Ansh in 'KSBKBT' and he seems to be caught up in the web of his screen persona. As for Farah, how could she have fallen for such a crap chap anyways.
