One of the biggest ever successes on the Hindi non-film album scene, Himesh Reshammiya's 'Aap Ka Surroor' has completed 50 weeks at the music stands. The album had arrived in January last year and still boasts of consistent sales all over. Starting with the opening number 'Tera Surroor', the album has boasted of numerous other chartbusters like 'Naa Hai Tera', 'Samjho Naa', 'I Love You Sayyoni', 'Tu Yaad Na Aaye', 'Wada Tainu' amongst others. The music videos as well the remix versions of the tracks from the album have graced the audio and video charts for weeks in succession and elevated Himesh Reshammiya to being a superstar in 2006. Now one eagerly awaits some exciting times ahead as an array of HR film albums release one after another in coming months starting with 'Red' and 'Namastey London'.
Mallika's price for AKS - 15 lakhs per minute!
Mallika Sherawat's coffer has got phenomenally fat ever since she gave her a nod to play a part in Himesh Reshammiya's debut film as a leading man - 'Aap Kaa Surroor'. Apparently she has charged, hold your breath, as much as Rs. 1.5 crore for acting in the film. Well, this is not all because as per sources, she has only 10 minutes presence in the film. All of this means that her asking price for the film is as steep as Rs. 15 lakhs for every minute she appears in the film. Whew! Unbelievable as it may sound but our source confirms that this is indeed true. Also, though it may be unbelievable but it is certainly not surprising for majority of insiders. Readers may remember that for her few minutes appearance in an event hosted by a 5 star hotel on New Years eve, she had charged a whopping amount that had raised many a eyebrows! Mallika's popularity has only soared up post the release and success of 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' & 'Guru' while her subsequent signing of 'Dasavatharam', a project where she features as a CIA agent opposite Kamal Hassan, has only added as another feather on her cap. Since she has become overtly selective off late and is only green lighting projects that excite her in a big way, 'Aap Kaa Surroor' seems to be THE big project with which she has associated herself, both for the benefit of financial gains as well as those that come due to the fact that she is now one of the most talked about female actress ever since her association with the film was revealed. Directed by debutant director Prashant Chadha, 'Aap Kaa Surroor' is a Vijay Taneja film which has been shot extensively in Germany, Thailand and India. Aiming at a June 29 release, the film stars Hansika Motwani as the leading lady paired opposite Himesh.

First promo/showreel of Himesh Reshammiya's debut film 'Aap Kaa Surroor The Movie The Real Luv Story' is out and has caught on the imagination of everyone and anyone who is an avid television watcher. While the song 'Tanhaaiyaan' is all set to be one big hit in weeks to come, what has also been noticed is Himesh's look. It may not have changed drastically from what we have seen of him in his music videos during last 1 year, but one can't deny the fact that he has managed to create an immense screen presence for himself. And the woman responsible behind this look is none other than Himesh's own sister Roopa Chadha. She is Himesh's stylist in the film and has made immense effort to make Himesh look the way he does in the promo. With Himesh being seen in different moods across geographies in the film, Roopa would be leaving no stones unturned to make him appeal to one and all!
