Rajesh Khanna-Zeenat Aman unite
After being in the industry for decades, its time for yesteryears' superstars Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman to make a comeback as a pair with 'Jaana-Let's Fall In Love'. As per the industry buzz, the two play their age and shown to be in love with each other. The story is as much about them 'falling in love' than just the younger lead pair of Rehan Khan and Anjana Sukhani. Also, the film is rumored to have a song that features both Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman in the costumes that made a fashion statement in the 70s.
Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman dance on remixes in 'Jaana'
Though neither Rajesh Khanna nor Zeenat Aman are anywhere to be seen in the promotion of their latest film 'Jaana - Let's Fall In Love' a little birdie tells us that their roles were quite interesting when the film's shooting was on. In fact apart from Rehan Khan and Anjana Sukhani, the lead pair of the film, Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman, were touted to relive the nostalgia of the 70s with a romantic pairing that would bring them back into the limelight. Apart from sharing some tender moments together, they have also danced to the tunes of as many as 5 yesteryear hits of theirs from the past. The songs (that are not a part of the music album) have been presented as situational based remixes and come up whenever the two veterans come face to face.
Nikita Anand - Zeenat Aman hit it off
When Nikita Anand was told she's going to be starring in Nileish Malhotra's 'Monopoly' opposite none other than yesteryear glam queen Zeenat Aman, she couldn't help but feel nervous. But the two hit it off almost immediately after meeting and even found out that they had a lot in common! Baffled? So were we, till we got to know! To begin with, Nikita and Zeenat were both Miss India at different points in time. Both began their careers with interesting roles. Their food habits and taste in clothes are also pretty much similar. And both Nikita and Zeenat are health freaks. Obviously then, Nikita just can't seem to stop gushing about the yesteryears' diva. "Zeenat aunty is so nice and humble. We got along like a house on fire. Because we're both perfectionists, we would rehearse our lines for hours altogether," says the upcoming actress. She goes far enough to call her friendship with Zeenat the best part of shooting for 'Monopoly'. "I learnt so much about acting from her. She has loads of knowledge and yet, she is so down-to-earth," quips Nikita. While we agree that Zeenat can charm the birds out of trees, we're not sure she'll take too kindly to being called 'aunty'. Despite her years, she can still give these pretty young things a run for their money, isn't it? Bad choice of words, Niki.
Sanober's 'Soniye Dil Nahi Lagda' sourced from Aman Hayer composition
A few days back we had mentioned about Sanober Kabir making a splash with her brand new song 'Soniye Dil Nahi Lagda'. Now we have been informed that it is actually a number that has its base from an already existing song with the same title. The song has been composed by Aman Hayer who is a well known composer in UK Bhangra music scene and is the student of well known composer/singer Sukshinder Shinda, the man who composes for Jazzy B. The original 'Dil Nahi Lagda' has been sung by Feroz Khan and Vinni and was released in 2005. Nevertheless, what matters in the end is whether the song is entertaining or not and in that regard, 'Dil Nahi Lagda' winds hands down. Young Sanober makes just the right moves as required by the song while the rocking tune only makes the number extremely catchy and likeable.
