Amtabh Bachchan Corporation (AB Corp), the revitalized production company of Big B has got the right partner for making its second innings a grand affair. Relinace Big Entertainment (RBE) owned by Anil Ambani has fixed a deal with Amitabh's company to produce films, programes for the television, reality shows, contents for the new media like internet, live shows and mobile content. The leading bollywood directors who will be at the helm of the first films coming out of the joint venture have also been decided. The director of the hit film 'Bluffmaster', Rohan Sippy is to make a film with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Film maker Chadrprakash Dwivedi who directed 'Chanakya' will be making a movie with Amitabh Bachchan. Big B will also act in a film to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh who is the director of the forthcoming film 'Alladin'. Advertisement film maker Balakrishna who made the film 'Cheeni Kum' with Amitabh will again work with him and Abhishek for a new film. Reliance Big Entertainment is on a world wide signing spree and at the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival it struck major production deals with Hollywood big shots like Brad Pitt, Nicolas Cage and Jim Carrey among others. It was also reported that Anil Ambani's company is in talks with the great filmmaker Stephen Spielberg to produce movies. According to the deal, AB Corp and RBE will be equal partners in the production business and the multinational company will be taking care of the human resource needed for the management of the production and also be responsible for the distribution of the works. Talking about the new deal, Amitabh Bachchan sais that the association is a progressive step towards the future and is a healthy marriage between creative output and professional corporate management. The various new films will start the shooting towards the end of this year. The officials of the Reliance Big Entertainment said that this deal is a part of the company's vision of making itself a leading entertainment company in the world by collaborating with various international and Indian companies. Speaking about Amitabh Bachchan, the officials said that he is one of the legends and most creative personalities in Bollywood and when the persona and talent of Big B and the business plans of Reliance are combined, the entertainment sector will rise to a higher level. Relinace Big Entertainment has already planned and decided upon producing over 70 films eyeing both Indian as well as global film markets.
Anil Ambani and Steven Speilberg join hands
The announcement of working with some of the world renowned actors like Brad Pitt, Nicolas Cage, George Clooney, Jim Carrey and Tom Hanks made public in May at the Cannes Film Festival by Reliance Big Entertainment has been given the finishing touch with the coming together of the business group and Steven Spielberg who is one of the most successful film makers of the world. The new association worked out between the business group owned by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani and Steven Spielberg is for starting a studio situated in Los Angeles. A whooping $1.5 billion is going to be pumped in by the mammoth business group into Hollywood for churning out world class movies aimed at the global audience. This new business deal is going to be financed by a combination of equity and debt. The famous investment banker JP Morgan Chase is also involved with the deal. This spreading of business interests of the Reliance Big Entertainment towards the film industry in the U.S has come at a time when Steven Speilberg is looking out for ways to break away from the film production company Dream Works. Stancey Snider, who is the chief executive of Dream Works and was the chairperson of Universal Studios till 2006 will also come on board for the new venture. Formed in 1994, Dream Works was sold to Viacom's Paramount in 2006 for $1.6 billion due to a bad run. This new project also comes at a time when film makers in Hollywood due to the ongoing financial crisis in U.S.A are looking out for investors from other countries to fund their ambitious projects.

Vadivelu to launch ‘Ambasamuthiram Ambani’ audio
The audio function of Karunas’s forthcoming heroic venture ‘Ambasamuthiram Ambani’ will be held a popular multiplex in Chennai on Monday (April 12). According to close sources, comedy king Vadivelu will release the audio CD, while ‘Janangalin Kalaignan’ Vivek will receive the first copy of it. Tamil Nadu Minister for Information, Parithi Ilamvazhuthi and Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan will be in charge of over the event, in which biggies of kollywood are expected to attend. The movie is directed by Ramnath P and it is the second film for Karunas to play a hero role after ‘Dindigul Sarathy’. Navneet Kaur plays the female lead opposite Karunas. The movie is all about a youngster who is trying to become rich through truthful means.
Varudu Villain says ‘Nene Ambani’!
Remember the ‘Varudu’ Villain, Arya who has received good accolades for his performance though the film was dud at the Box-Office. Now, the actor’s new film was titled as ‘Nene Ambani’ in Telugu. The movie is said to be the dubbed version of Tamil flick , ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’. Nayantara played the female lead in the film. The film’s logo was unveiled yesterday in Hyderabad. The event was graced by B.Jaya, producer Prasanna Kumar, Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao and others. S.V.R.Media head Shoba who has earlier Dashavataram and Awara in Telugu will release this flick too. The movie is said to be a Romantic comedy entertainer.
