Aarti Chabria is all set to play Anamika in Anant Mahadevan's new film by the same name and boy is she excited about it! She plays the title role of Anamika, a very polished socialite, very classy and modern at the same time and the film unravels around her. Also starring in the film is Dino Morea, Koena Mitra and Minissha Lamba. The film is currently undergoing shooting in exotic locales like Rajasthan and understandably Aarti is quite thrilled with the way her career is shaping up. Having been a success down south, she has in her kitty interesting films like Apurva Lakhia's 'Shoot out At Lokhandwala' and now 'Anamika'.
After VICTORIA NO. 203 and AGGAR, Mahadevan's ANAMIKA to release?
Box office has been particularly unkind to Ananth Mahadevan in the month gone by. Both VICTORIA NO. 203 and AGGAR have been massive failures at the box office that has worked against the film maker who had delivered a successful AKSAR last year. Now, if some of the recent reports have to be believed, his Dino Morea-Koena Mitra-Minissha Lamba-Aarti Chhabria starrer ANAMIKA may be up for release this October. "Not true", says the film maker, "Nothing is confirmed as of yet on whether ANAMIKA would be released this month. We are yet to take a call on this." ANAMIKA is one of the most expensive films directed by Mahadevan and is said to be based on Hollywood classic REBECCA.
Nayantara’s Anamika nearing completion
Sekhar Kammula directed Anamika shoot is nearing its completion. The film’s shoot is progressing at a brisk pace in and around Hyderabad, and with just a month shoot left the movie gets wrapped by July end. Nayanatara is playing the leading lady in this official remake of Kahaani stepping into the shoes of Vidya Balan. Vaibhav Reddy is playing the important role in the movie.Being shot in Telugu and Tamil bilingual versions, Anamika is being produced by Endemol India, Logline Productions Pvt. Ltd. Cinematography for the film is by Vijay C Kumar and musical scores are by M M Keeravani.
Nayanatara’s Anamika shoot in Hyderabad
With Nayanatara in the lead role, the upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Anamika is taking shape in and around Hyderabad. A special set has been erected in Padmarao Nagar, where the film’s key scenes will be shot. Anamika is the official remake of Bollywood hit Kahaani and Nayan has stepped in to the shoes of Vidya Balan for the film. The actress will be seen as a pregnant, and is in search of her missing husband in the film. The suspense thriller is being produced by Endemol India banner.

Priyamani special number in Anamika?
Actress Priyamani has been roped in for a special item song in Sekhar Kammula’s Anamika casting Nayanatara as the female lead. Priyamani has recently sizzled with Shahrukh Khan for an item number in Chennai Express and now, the actress will shake leg in Anamika, a suspense thriller which is the remake of Kahaani. Anamika is being shot in Telugu, Tamil versions. Nayanatara is playing the title role and Kammula had made lots of changes to the script to suit it to Telugu audiences. Vaibhav Reddy, Harshavardhan Rane are playing prominent roles in the film. Anamika being produced by Endemol India banner is gearing up for a grand scale release for Dussera.
