Actor Puri Akash, who is making his acting debut in the forthcoming Telugu teenage love story "Andhra Pori", says he always wished to be launched by his filmmaker-father Puri Jagannath, who didn't quite agree with his son. "I've always wished to be launched by my father. I wanted to be launched as a hero in one of his films. But he suggested that I do 'Andhra Pori' as he felt it suited my age and wanted me to experience everything on my own," Akash told. Without much hesitation, Akash took his father's advice. In "Andhra Pori", a Telugu remake of Marathi hit "Time Pass", Akash plays a Class 10 dropout. "I had to pick up on Telangana accent. I essay a massy village dweller. To get my dialect right, I underwent a week-long workshop and it really helped me to champion the language," he said. Calling his film an "audience-friendly" teenage love story, Akash said the romance in the film is "clean". "The story is about two teenagers and their first crush. There's romance but it's not portrayed the way our cinema usually does. There's innocence in the romance between the lead characters in the movie," he said. Akash says he's not in a hurry to sign more films. "Post 'Andhra Pori', I'll take a few years break and complete my formal education; go to college and earn a degree. Then, I'll decide on my future. I'll take it slow," he said.
Andhra Govt Did Not Stopped Janatha Garage Filming
Apparently the news of Andhra Pradesh government issuing a GO that halts the screening of films during midnight and early morning has stunned everyone. But Govt officials claimed that there is nothing like that. Officially website of AP govt features no such GO in the last one week where a GO related to screening of films at odd times issued. That makes way for Janata Garage team to screen Benefit Shows at 1 am and 4 am respectively on September 1st. While these benefit show collections don't add to film's collections, they create hype and hoopla. If there is no such GO then along with Telangana people, even AP people will enjoy these early shows of Janata Garage.

In order to please his fans staying abroad, Maheshbabu had gone to the US to take part in the premiere show of 'Sainikudu'. He says, 'I had a strong feeling that I am amidst Telugu audiences in Andhra and not in the US. The audiences had proved the greatness of Telugus even while staying abroad. I am sure that 'Sainikudu' would enthrall one and all. It is running successfully right from small towns and villages where the film hit the screen in Andhra Pradesh and the same is the case with abroad. I thank everyone for their cooperation in this regard and I am dedicating the success of the film to the audiences. If I get a chance, I will again visit the US and meet the Telugus here.'
