The maiden venture of director Hari Eleti which is produced by Kishore Ganji and Raghu on the Inno Vision Cinema banner, received a clean censorship certification of 'U', without any cut. The running time of the movie is two hours and fifteen minutes. The release of the movie is scheduled across the world, including USA, on 5th September with 35 prints. Nikhil who has become famous with the movie 'Happy Days' is the Hero and Megha Burman (Bru Coffee Ad appearance) as a debut is paired with him for the movie. Music is composed by Vinu Thomas is well received. A graduate from Pune Film Institute is taking over her first assignment as cinematographer. Editing is taken care of Marthand K Venkatesh for the movie.
Ankith, Pallavi & Friends, another college fare
After 'Happy Days', Nikhil gets to play a college student once again in Ankith, Pallavi and Friends. Now, in case you thought it sounds pretty much like 'Happy Days', well, you are not alone. We thought so too. But the film's maker, Hari Yeleti insists his film about five college friends will be very different from Kammula's version. Now, for starters, there are just five friends. So, we are forced to believe him. As for the film itself, it is being made by an all-new team headed by Hari Yeleti. It seems, he drew up his characters based on his real life experiences, dreams and dilemmas. Now, we only hope he can translate them into an interesting and gripping on-screen drama. Megha Burman will be debuting as Pallavi in the film. So it will be something to watch out for surely!
'Ankith, Pallavi & Friends' wrapped up
Hari Elleti's next film 'Ankith, Pallavi and Friends' is almost done. This film was created under the banner of Innovision and has been produced by Kishore Ganji & Raghu. The hero of the film is Nikhil of 'Happy Days' fame. But for two songs, the rest of the film is complete. Mega Burman is playing Nikhil's heroine in this film which portrays a young and refreshing story. The film revolves around four young chaps and a young maiden who have just stepped out of their college. This film is Nikhil and Mega's debut film as hero and heroine. We have earlier seen Mega in Bru ads on TV. The director has expressed his happiness in working with his friends for this film. Malini Dasari, is his camera woman, and she had her training from the Pune Institute. The director has also promised that they will soon wrap up the song shoots, and the audio for this film will be released in April and the team plans to release the film towards the end of April. The hero who spoke to the news men confessed that so far he was addressed as Rajesh, from his film 'Happy Days', that met with roaring success but he is sure that he will come to be knowm as Ankit once this film hits theatres. The hero hopes that the entire unit will earn a good name after this film is out in theatres. Vinu Thomas' music will lilt through out 'Ankith, Pallavi and Friends'. Naresh, Satish, Venu, Surya, Pradeep, Sandeep, C.V.L.Narasimha Rao, Ram Jagan, Siva Narayana, Srilatha, and Revathi are the others in the cast. With this film hitting the theatres the young crowd will sure have soemthing chill to watch this summer!
'Ashta Chamma', 'Ankit Pallavi & Friends', 'Saroja' on 5th September
Three small budget films are getting ready for release this 5th of September are: 'Ashta Chamma', 'Ankit Pallavi & Friends' and 'Saroja'. 'Ashta Chamma' is directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti. Swati and Nani are in the lead pair. The story is woven around a young girl who is obsessed with the star actor Mahesh Babu. The film is presented (distributed) by Suresh Babu and will be released in 35 centers in AP. Shekhar Kammula is scheduling the release in overseas according to the sources. 'Ankit Pallavi & Friends' is directed by Hari Eleti, has Nikhil of Happy Days fame and debutant Megha Burman in the lead roles. The film is a romantic entertainer, presenting a fresh image of friendship among the youth. 'Saroja' made in Telugu and Tamil, is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Srihari and Vaibhav are the male leads while Kajol plays the heroine. Nikhita is appearing in a special role. The story is woven around seven young persons and Praksah Raj and Jayaram. Censoring will be completed this week and is to be released on 5th of September.
Ankitha in Khatarnak
The Ravi Teja-Ileana starrer 'Khatarnak' directed by Amma Rajasekhar and produced by Bhogavalli Prasad under the banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra is getting ready. This mass entertainer is almost ready for release on January 14. Meanwhile, canning of the last song for the film began recently. Glamour doll Ankitha who made her debut with 'Lahiri Lahiri Lahiri lo'' is shaking her legs with Ravi Teja for this song. Keeravani has given melodious tunes to the film and the audio is already a super hit. The producer opines that the film would also be a big hit like the audio.
Chiru to address from Praja Ankita Vedika
It is scheduled as the actor-politician will arrive to the stage around 5:00 PM and get blessings from his mother. He also expected to address the audience for about more than an hour. Chiru finally announced much expected party name as PRAJA RAJYAM means Peoples Rule at the venue in Tirupati. During the course he will reveal name of the party, party flag, symbol and agenda. The stage is named as Praja Ankita Vedika and designed attractively with digital technology. Later he will hoist flag atop the pole put up at the venue. The stage surrounded with white background will display colors of flag and symbol once they unveiled. Organizers have planned to complete the entire proceedings before 7:00 PM. Other arrangements and highlights of the launch of party function are: The popular singer Nagur Babu and Tv anchor Pragati are hosting the event. Events are planned to start with a dance program by white dress adorned men and pattu saree wearing women to dance with the tune of Vandemataram from Shankar Baba Zindabad. Folk artists from various districts including Adilabad, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram perform folk dances. Family members of the actor brothers are seated at a special block ear marked for them. It is reported that over 10 lakh people arrived at the place. Separate galleries were arranged for old people, physically challenged persons and the press. No VIP passes are issued. About 3000 police persons are taking care of security arrangements at the venue. Additionally special police forces are kept ready for encountering any untoward incidence. They are also arranged 8 ambulances and few medical camps to meet any urgent requirements of first aid.
