Speaking at the audio release of 'Ism', NTR was all praise for Puri Jagannadh. Their association goes back to the days of 'Andhrawala', but it was when 'Temper' happened that their relationship started becoming intense ."I like Jagan bhayya a lot. I know if I work with him, he would show me in a new light. I was one thing before 'Temper', I am another after that movie. My confidence levels got a booster shot after working with Jagan bhayya. I have selfishly wanted that he works with Kalyan annayya. When they both were mooting to work though they hadn't even met, Jagan bhayya happened to tell me that he wanted to offer this particular story to Kalyan annayya. Since I know almost all of his stories, I immediately called up annayya to share the news that a project with Jagan bhayya has come through," NTR said."I never imagined that I will see Kalyan annayya like this on-screen. I am not talking about the body and looks. I am talking about the attitude. It's all because of you, Jagan bhayya," he said.NTR described Kalyan Ram as his friend, philosopher and guide. "He has been a girl friend as well, sometimes," he said in a lighter vein. "I have personally seen how much he has worked hard for 'Ism'. He has worked very hard as an actor. Genuine efforts never go waste."Quoting the famous proverb, "Pen is mightier than a sword", he wished team 'Ism' all the success.
I can't act like Annayya -Pawan
Pawan Kalyan has been busy giving interviews to media about his film "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" such that his distributors will get saved due to the extra publicity he's giving. During one of his latest interviews, Pawan stated that he can't act like his brother Chiranjeevi. "For people like my brother Chiranjeevi garu, they can do any role. Because they are born actors. Either his Pranam Kareedu or Punnami Nagu, he could do any role with ease. But I'm not like that. I'm trained actor. So my skill set is limited. So I can't take different roles and convince", said Pawan. That's a shocker for sure, but its Pawan's apparent repetition that won him fame anyway.
Why Koratala Siva called NTR as Annayya?
At the audio launch of 'Janatha Garage', Koratala Siva surprised everyone by addressing NTR as 'Annayya'. Later, He explained the kind of relation he shares with Young Tiger. Koratala Siva: 'I feel its my family function. This film is very special to me in many ways. I worked as Writer for 'Brundavanam'. I treat NTR as My Elder Brother. He used to say nice things about me and introduced me to Telugu audience. That's how our journey began. This the reason why he is so special to Me. I try to match my writing with his energy. His excitement during narration of a scene will keep motivating Me to work hard. Our relation began with 'Brundavanam'. I promise you that that relation will be maintained forever with a blockbuster in the form of 'Janatha Garage''. 'Mohan Lal is one of the finest actors in the country. I grew up watching films like 'Kalapani'. I'm very lucky to have Mohan Lal and NTR in one frame'. The Star Director claims having a good team is the secret behind his success and they should be given 2/3rd of the credit.
'Padaiyappa' and 'Annamalai' phenomenon in Rajini-Ranjith film
As we had reported earlier superstar Rajinikanth will play a role close to his real life age in his next film to be directed by Ranjith. It is being speculated that the film will showcase Rajini as a aged done who still rules the underworld. Now hear from a source in Kollywood that the character played by Rajini will have an adult daughter in the yet to be titled film and the team is on the search for a star face to play that role. Radhika Apte will be playing Rajini’s wife in this film while Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan and Prakash Raj are will be joining the team to play important supporting roles. The Superstar‘s character had adult daughters in his blockbuster films ‘Padaiyappa’ and ‘Annamalai’. But the script of those films showcased the life of the character played by Rajini from its young days, there by offering scope for youthful elements. It is unclear whether Rajini will appear as a aged man in the entire film to be directed by Ranjith or this film will also have portions showing him as a youngster. The film which will be produced by Kalaipuli S.Thanu is expected to go on floors by the end of this month or early September in Malaysia.
