More news →Abhishek Pictures Bags 'Inkokkadu' For The Good Price
National award winning actor Vikram’s “Inkokkadu” is set for a release soon. And the Telugu distribution rights have been bagged by Abhishek Pictures for a phenomenal Rs 8.5cr. The production house had recently bagged many big movies and distributed Kabali. Vikram has got a decent fan base in Telugu and his films have always been loved by Telugu audience because of his attempts at different characterisations. Ever since “Aparichithudu”, his stakes have been high and one hopes even this film will hit the bull’s-eye. It is learnt that in this movie, Vikram has done a dual role, one as a transgender with negative shades and the other of an undercover cop. Nayanatara and Nithya Menen are playing the lead roles in the film. Anand Shankar has directed this action thriller which is stated for a September 9 release.
Sadha Slims Down
Sadha who was introduced as a heroine with 'Jayam' in the direction of Teja, got a good recognition with her next films 'Pranam', 'Veera Bhadra' and Shankar ' Vikram's 'Aparichithudu'. Presently, she plays the lead in 'A..Aa..E..Ee' opposite Srikanth, directed by Srinivas Reddy. The determined actress has made a considerable loss of weight to make her first step in to Bollywood. She was weighing about 54kgs during her first film 'Jayam', and now she has slimmed down to 44kgs. This is how the Bollywood audience will like, says Sadhaf. Say whatever, the actress seems to be gearing up to compete with the slim stars of Bollywood.
Vikram-Aish in Mani's next?
Rumor mills are turning hard and fast. The news from the yarn factory is that Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might be soon seen together for a flick directed by Manirathnam. Sources inside the industry say that the romantic director has narrated a story to Vikram and also he has narrated the same script to Aish too. Right now Vikram is busy going places for his next film 'Mallanna'. Aish too is busy with her dated for superstar's 'Robot' as well as another flick by Manirathnam, where Aish will be seen pairing with her hubby, Abhi. Sources in Tollywood imply that if all goes well the Vikram-Mani project will take off this year it self. Vikram has set the hearts of his fans in Tollywood on fire with his spellbinding performance in 'Aparichithudu'. The talks going around Kollywood also suggest that Vikram will be sharing screen space with Aishwarya Rai for this yet-to-be titled Manirathnam flick.
