Producer R B Choudhary put an end to spat between Super Good Films and Mohanlal over not using the actor's original voice for the Tamil version of their movie Keerthi Chakra. Addressing media persons in Chennai on Friday, the producer said, 'Mohanlal's outburst against not using his original voice for Aran was justified. It shows his commitment and passion towards the roles that he performs. Even now we are ready to dub his voice and use it in the movie'. We will release all anew, he said in true sporting style. It was announcement that is expected to build the peace bridge between the warring camps. Elated at the opening for Keerthi Chakra in Kerala, Choudhary, said, 'The movie has been witnessing packed houses. It has collected huge revenues and may end up the biggest grosser in Malayalam filmdom'. Going further, the producer, said, 'We have requested the President of India Abdul Kalam to watch the movie and letters have been sent in this regard to Rashtrapati Bhavan. If he accepts our invitation, we are planning to arrange a special screening for him'. Also the movie has been welcomed well by many voluntary organizations striving to promote nationalism and patriotism, he added.
Aranya Kandam’ chosen for SAIFF!
SPB Charan’s forthcoming production venture ‘Aranya Kandam’ starring Hindi actor Jackie Shroff and Yamini Ponnappa in lead roles is making much interesting news before its release. It was announced that the filmmaker Thiagarajan Kumararaja, who is making his debut with this film has been chosen for the South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) to be held in New York from Oct 27 to Nov 2, 2010. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The SAIFF is the largest Asian Film festival in New York which is being held to identify the talents of promising filmmakers in one of the world’s largest film industries and to create a right platform and exposure.
Aranmanai Brand is back: Hansika
Bubbly beauty Hansika, who played the lead role in horror thriller Aranmani re-joins director Sundar C for sequel too. Happy Hansika shared the news in her official twitter page: “The #Aranmanai Brand is back shook hands for the fourth time.Me & my favourite sundar sir. #aranmanai2 @khushsundar”. As way2movies earlier reported Trisha and Siddharth will play the lead roles and Hansika will be seen in a pivotal role in Aranmanai 2. Actor-director Sundar C is also expected to do a key role in this upcoming film along with Kajal Aggarwal. After, TVSK, Aranmanai and Aambala, Hansika and Sundar c are teaming for the fourth time in a row.
Naren turns baddie for 'Aranmanai 2'
Actor Naren, who has so far been seen in supporting and character roles, is all set to play the antagonist in filmmaker Sundar C's upcoming Tamil horror-comedy "Aranmanai 2". "Naren has been roped in to play a powerful villain. Sundar C felt he's underrated and can deliver much more than what has already been extracted from him," a source from the film's unit told. The source, however, added that Naren won't be the only baddie in the film. "Sundar is on the lookout for someone to play another negative character. He's likely to zero in on someone in the next couple of weeks," the source said. A sequel to Tamil blockbuster "Aranmanai", the film features Siddharth, Hansika Motwani, Trisha Krishnan and Soori in the lead roles. It will go on the floors soon.
Hansika ‘I’ve signed Sundar C’s Aranmanai’
Hansika, who is busy with Simbu starrer Vettai Mannan and Vaalu in Kollywood, has signed her next film titled ‘Aranmanai’ to be directed by Sundar C. Hansika confirmed the news in her twitter page, “To much speculation about my upcoming movie, well yes I m very much confirming that I have signed one more film with Sundar sir ( Sundar C).” Wishing her fans on Vinaya Chaturthi, about the film’s cast Hansika said, “and about the other star cast I have no idea , all I'm told is that , I play the main lead n the story revolves around me n my character . i have full faith in my star director , all i know is i m very happy to be a part of his next project:) excited . Happy ganesh chaturthi:)” Remember, Hansika was also part of Sundar’s last release Theeya Velai seiyyanum Kumaru opposite Siddharth. “#Aranmanai its completely a different character that I’ve never done, I was very pleased and surprised that Sundar sir offered me this project excited to work with him yet again :)movie goes on floor next month,” concluded Hansika.
Hansika signs Sundar C's Aranmanai
Aranmanai is the upcoming Tamil thriller comedy film being directed by Sundar C starring Hansika, Andrea and Lakshmi Rai in the leads along with Sundar C and Vinay Rai. Director Sundar C is busy with the shooting schedules of Aranmanai and doesn’t want to reveal even his stars looks in his film. But reportedly, Hansika seems to have convinced her director and posted a pic of her and Sundar in her social networking page. Kovai Sarala, Nithin Sathya and Manobala also cast in Aranmanai. Meanwhile, Hansika is not keeping well these days as the actress is taking stress by juggling between Aramanai and Siva Karthikeyan’s Maan Kartae sets.
