More news →'Arya' team to resurface in June
It is not that easy for two persons travelling together in Telugu film industry. Especially, when it comes to those who were on a success path, it would be further troublesome. But, that record is being broken by two successful persons in Telugu film industry. Of them one is hero Allu Arjun, while the other is producer Dil Raju. Allu Arjun made his debut through 'Gangotri'. Raju entered into the film industry by producing 'Dil'. Though both their first films were successful, they failed to get the adequate name and fame in their debut ventures. However, the second film for both of them, 'Arya' became a sensational hit and earned them good stardom to both the hero and the producer. They continued their winning streak from then onwards. Recently, they planned a film with Sukumar as director, but it failed to materialise. But, Allu Arjun and Dil Raju are joining hands together for their sixth film under the direction of 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar. The shooting of the film was formally launched with puja activities recently and the regular shooting of the movie would begin from June. The unit is yet to select the other artistes and technicians for the movie. It is reliably learnt that the producer, after completing all the formalities, is planning to release the film in December.
'Arya MBBS' to come soon
It earlier released in Tamil as 'Arya'. Now, it is being released in Telugu as 'Arya MBBS'. The film has Madhavan and Bhavani, who was seen in Ontari as the lead pair. The film is being released in Telugu by CV Rao and Patsa Nagaraju under the Teja Cinema banner. It has Prakash Raj playing a powerful role similar to his role in 'Okkadu'. The audio will be released in the first week of February and the film will hit the screens towards the end of the month.
Arya and Sony Agarwal in 'College Days'
Directed by Nanda, a Tamil film 'Orukallurin Kathai' was dubbed into Telugu as 'College Days' by Venugopal Reddy and Challa Srinivas Reddy on the banner of S Aneesh Films. Presently DTS mixing works are in progress. The film has Arya and Sony Agarwal in the lead. The lead characters played in characters which reflect the happiness and friendship in college days. The film has different elements like love, comedy and sentiment. The audio of the film would be released soon. Charuhasan, Mouli, Charlie and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Vijay, lyrics are by Vennelakanti, camera is by Madi, music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while screenplay and direction are by Nanda.
'Arya' sequel begins on 6th August
Shooting of the sequel venture from Dil Raju, Sukumar and Allu Arjun to be launched from 6th August, following the super hit of 'Arya'. Sukumar's earlier venture 'Jagadam' failed miserably at Box Office. However, now Dil Raju has decided to make a sequel to 'Arya' with Allu Arjun and Sukumar who are reported to have agreed for this instantly. Kajal Agarwal and Shradha Arya of 'Godava' fame are the heroines.
'Arya' sequel rolls at Annapurna Studios
'Arya' made by director Sukumar, featuring Allu Arjun and Anu Mehtha in the lead roles with Siva Balaji in a cameo bagged a sensational success in the past, is a well acquainted fact. Presently, a sequel for Arya is being made with the cast including Allu Arjun, Kajal and Navdeep. Director of the former flick, Sukumar is making this sequel. The shooting of this film, kept in a pause mode resumed after cameraman Rajasekhar joined the crew. Recently, some scenes were reeled at Musheerabad. It is learnt that from the 7th of this month, some scenes will be shot on the hero and heroine, in special sets constructed at Annapurna Studios.
Arya Babbar goes negative in 'Guru'
Raj Babbar's son Arya started his career with Raj Kanwar's 'Ab Ke Baras' a few years back. Though he was reasonably decent, the film flopped and along with it Arya's dreams of stardom. His subsequent films like 'Mudda' and 'Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum' sunk without a trace and Arya disappeared from the Bollywood scene for more than two years until Mani Rathnam signed him on for 'Guru.' In an attempt to build a second innings, Arya is apparently appearing as a negative character in 'Guru' and he is said to have a meaty role in the film. Starring Abhishek Bachchan in the title role along with Mithun Chakravorty, Aishwarya Rai, Madhavan and Vidya Balan, 'Guru' has music by A.R.Rahman and is set for release on January 12th.
